I'm just trying to get my feet off the ground in creating a soccer spreadsheet. I have a fairly good idea of where I want to go with it, but would like some advice:
1 In you're opinion, how much more valuable is a quality player over an average player in terms of goals... in other words, how do you estimate this? You might say a quality striker is twice as good as an average one and if the quality striker is injured...
2 How do you estimate home ground advantage?... sure, you can look at the average, but individual games vary in distance, climate, etc.
