Memphis RB/WR Tony Pollard was recorded in the low 4.4s in the 40-yard dash at his pro day, with some scouts clocking him as fast as 4.38 seconds. That was a significant improvement on his 4.52-second time in the NFL Scouting Combine.

Mississippi TE Dawson Knox (hernia) was timed between 4.51 and 4.57 seconds in the 40-yard dash at his pro day over the weekend, and he recorded a three-cone drill time of 6.81 seconds. He also had shuttle runs between 4.18 and 4.26 seconds. The times were considered impressive since he is just 12 weeks removed from hernia surgery. He met with the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars, and both teams are reportedly 'very interested' in him. The Dallas Cowboys are another team with interest in him.

Mississippi WR DaMarkus Lodge reportedly had a great workout at his pro day, and he stood out among the trio of Rebels receivers including A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf. Lodge met with the New York Giants, as well as spending time with the receivers coaches from the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.
