Yes that is a fact, a fact that had absolutely nothing to do with Yahoo. It is their choice to classify players as they choose, and in this case they assigned a rookie positions he played in college, which seems like nothing to get excited about as it has been done before.

Doesn’t affect me at all as by all accounts Conner is back next week. I love my teams matchups throughout all 3 weeks of the playoffs. The bye was just a bonus. I can understand greasers frustration. Add to the fact Dazers Peavy-esk turn the knife replies just irritates him even more. It’s fantasy football. The guy could get hurt on the 1st play. Most of the arguments we have over these things tend not to make a difference anyway. Let’s hope that’s the case here

Just for Transparency, it was $125 plus another $85 for kicking/locking me out of his league, so more like $200. But that is old news now, as I stated I could have handled that better.

I made the play offs in 1 of my 2 cash leagues, ironically there's 9 friends from Philly & 3 of us on liners, & I'm defending champ from last year.(Nice little $740 To Champ) Wife and me had plans and I couldn't draft this year so I gave them a cheat sheet and let them pick the rest for me. I got 3 players from my sheet, by week #4 I had replaced almost everyone of there picks. I finished 3rd in regular season, why am I telling you this, cause my opponent this week, spent his entire remaining FAB ($19) this week on Jaylen Samuels.

So I feel your pain, but it is what it is. Being on both sides of the coin, I understand both points. But I still feel like the train left the station a long time ago, you can't cry about/change something on week #14 that's been in place since day #1. Yahoo may have dropped the ball on this, but I can also understand why it wasn't changed. The Steelers dikked around and said Conner did not have an ankle sprain and didn't announce that Conner would be out and Samuels would start until Tuesday. Yahoo probably felt that taking away the dual designation was too late for those that already submitted waiver claims. He hasn't played TE this season, but does have the capability and if Jesse James had been injured instead, it's possible Samuels may have seen playing time as a TE.

Just because Samuels is named starter also doesn't mean he will be effective, Samuels only has a dozen carries, but only averaging 2.6 yards. If Samuels isn't effective early, it wouldn't be a surprise to get out touched by Ridley.

The problem with the commish changing the designation so late is that it then becomes unfair to whoever picked up Samuels. Had he known the designation would be changed, he may have opted to take someone else, but then that changes what others claiming after him would have picked up. Then it becomes an even bigger clusterfuq to try and change rosters and pickups to make it fair for everyone.

I haven't really picked my flex yet, it will come down to a last minute decision where undoubtedly I'll pick the one who scores the lowest.

I checked a couple different times this week for Play Off Odds but never saw them, heck this weeks match ups are so close they'd probably just be -110 for everyone.

I've seen you guys mention your future bets a few times, I made a couple also but didn't want to Jinx my guys, but....I maxed out 1 on myself on week #1 & maxed out 1 on GoBucks around week #5.

Guess I’ll chime in here....I actually picked up Samuels in a league a couple of weeks ago just to get Connor’s backup. I noticed he had TE designation which made the pickup even easier. Now I got lucky and get to put him in over A.Hooper. Thing is, anyone could have picked him up.

So what I’m saying is, everyone had the same opportunity to get him. So since everyone was on the same playing field, no one should complain now.

- Schedule each week as a DH (you play two team’s instead of one). Reduces the variance.

- Waivers reverse once the playoffs start (Top seed gets first priority).
