bernard or torrey smith ROS? - please help trade deadline thursday!!

who would you rather have rest of season, giovanni bernard or torrey smith? our trade deadline is the 29th so this would be a last minute deal. here is my lineup and current situation:

4th place, 7-5, on the brink of a playoff spot (top 6 make it)

    qb-foles (possibly mccown this week)
    3wr-djax, demariyus, garcon
    2rb- a.peterson, r. rice
    te- v.davis
    flex- torrey smith

while I do like this lineup, ray rice scares me. i've traded about all my depth away to get guys like peterson, djax, and vdavis...my next backup would be brandon jacobs. i am also shooting for brandon bolden on waivers. thing is, i could trade torrey for giovanni bernard, and have ap/bernard as my rb1/rb2 then have to find someone to flex (either ray rice, ugh, or grab someone like rod streater or something off waivers)

it basically comes down to what combo is better?
ray rice rb2 + torrey smith flex
giovanni bernard rb2 + streaming flex (streater, bolden, possibly even rice if he shapes up)

please help!!! my trade deadline is thursday and i dont know if i should pull the trigger

i do like torrey hes been good this year, but to me his ceiling is a little higher but his floor is lower...i see giovani as someone whos good for 8-10 a week solid where torrey can range anywhere from 1 to 20...i do like that gio is also used pretty heavily in the passing game...torrey had 2 catches on sunday, and while he ended with 70+ its gonna be hard to keep that up...ray rice is also looking like hes stuck in mud, although the jets d is tough to run on but still...i just hate being so tied to the ravens offense but maybe im just overreacting to a bad game against nyj

Add another one for Smith, when he's on he's good for a great stat line.

Leave your team alone and keep Smith. Rice could be good this week with Pittsburgh's best run-stopper McClendon out, and if Rice does have success, it would open things up for Smith too.

There really isn't a lot of difference between the 2 of them, if you forced me to pick I would take Bernard but they are very close so if you have Smith probably just sit tight

T Smith. Bernard has not been consistent and is the bigger gamble.

Ray Rice has frustrated me most of the season too. Luckily he can sit on my bench. I also have Smith and he has been solid despite not scoring many touch downs.

thanks a lot guys for all the input. i have decided to keep smith. i snagged brandon bolden off waivers, but hopefully ray rice can pick it up for me down the stretch. thursday will be a nice test for him...i really only need like 8-10 out of rice since my WRs are pretty great with demariyus, djax, and garcon, and i also have vernon d and AP, plus if foles plays even close to what hes been doing i shouldn't need more than rice to just support me. smith is a nice bonus when he breaks those big gains, especially since in our league a 40 yard play gives 2 bonus points. it is non-ppr. thanks again for the input everyone, much appreciated
