Help me tweak this weeks team

Preliminary entry, this will probably be tweaked five times or so before Sunday.
    Draftday salary cap weekly.

Slim pickings this weeks, tons of teams on a bye, and Draftday doesn't include Thursday night games.

    QB
    TONY ROMO v MIN (QB)

    RB
    ALFRED MORRIS v SD (RB)

    RB
    PIERRE THOMAS @ NYJ (RB)

    WR
    KEENAN ALLEN @ WAS (WR)

    WR
    DEZ BRYANT v MIN (WR)

    TE
    JASON WITTEN v MIN (TE)

    FLEX
    LESEAN MCCOY @ OAK (FLEX)

    K
    ROB BIRONAS @ STL (K)

    D
    COWBOYS (DAL) v MIN (D)

Dont play Dallas d. Vikings did decent against the packers. And Dallas d sucks as seen against the lions, and really all year, except the eagle game, but the eagles suck.

What defensive unit will give me the best results (sacks, pts. allowed, ints...)

    Packer D against Chi?
    Raven D against Cleveland?
    Pat D against Pitt?

All 3 teams have their ups and downs..

Browns from what I saw didnt' give up their opponent any TDs, that's kind of big because if you need a bailout, don't count on Browns giving up a TD on DST, so if it becomes a high scoring game and Ravens don't get many sacks or INT, you're kinda screwed. Cleveland does give up a lot of INT and Sacks. If you feel this is going to be a low scoring game, and if Baltimore can generate enough sacks and INT then Balti should be your pick.

Chicago gives up a higher % of DST touchdown that's the upside of playing GB and they play at home, but the downside is they dont' give up many sacks so far this year, and big reason for that is Matt Forte and Bennette, they've been able to dump the passes off quick. If you play packers DST then you are pretty much playing for the HR ball, DST TD since Chicago is ranked HIGH on giving up DST TD.

The reason why I said to take Pats are because they play at home. and Talib doesn't matter. This is DST not IDP. Steelers give up one of the most Sacks, fairly descent on INT, and steelers are HIGH on giving up DST TD. For me it's worth taking a PAT DST for the DST TD alone, the fact you play at home and steelers give up a lot of sack is added bonus, so I felt Pats were the best choice.. Basically can go bust but have a high ceiling.

What do you guys think of this idea?????

I can come off of Romo, go with Matt Ryan, and free up a shitload of cap room

Romo is a little over 18000 dollars
Ryan is a little over 13000

With the savings I can up grade two skill positions.

Lose a little points at QB to gain at other positions

Only place I really would like to upgrade right now is Richardson, but the sacrifice is high.

Know this, this is an extremely difficult fantasy week.
One of the most difficult I have ever seen.

You have a few elites, a bunch of mediocrity, and a shitload of shit to choose from.
Too many byes, Thursday game is not counted........... Real tough week.

Totally agreed, there are 2 ways to approach this..

The "popular" choices wont' matter, because you can bet that about 60% of the leawgue is all going to have the "top" guys with the juiciest match up, so it doesn't matter how they perform more times then not as long as it's not god aweful..

The best way to approach is to go against the popular choices.. IF they don't perform well you are going to have a HUGEEE leg up...

I think QB is probably the most important spot stability wise, and there's a lot of juicy matchup including Romo..

Matt Ryan doesn't have a great matchup Carolina is middle of teh pact omn yards given, and they rank THIRD on allowing passing TD.. Only big physical receiver they have is Tony Gonzo and Carolina is middle of the pact on defense against TE

I can also come down off of Whitten and try Dallas Clark and free up 3K, or Zach Miller (Seattle is weak now at WR, Miller may get 7 targets) and free up 3500

Might be worth a look to bring witten down..

Way I see it, I think you're over paying for Romo and Witten.. Dez is cclearly #1 WR this week, but outside of that denver game, Romo hasn't lived to his expectation salary cap wise. And witten has been even worse. Obviouslt there ain't too many choices below romo that's appealing so I think as you said takingout witten is the best way to go in your situation if you don't like Richardson

Hell I remember when Ray Rice would be in the top 2 salary for RB. 9200 is a bit low. McFadden seems like a good value, had 2 tds last week and did look explosive this season when get a hole to run through

as a pats fan, not big on pats D. big ben has been playing very well lately at qb, and no tommy kelly or talib does hurt. these guys got lit up by geno effing smith and were getting beat in the first half by tannehill...i have looked at some cheap defenses this week, one i really like is the titans. not sure hodw cheap they are on ur site, but on fanduel they are bottom price and they are facing shitty kellen clemens and zac stacy on a bum ankle if he even plays. they have been solid this yr too.

i also like denarius moore as a low cost wr that might let u upgrade in other areas. eagles have been a joke against wideouts this yr

lastly, rbs, i got eddie lacy fairly cheap considering hes gonna steamroll the bears. allowed me to open up other spots. got leveon bell as well and i think he will have a good game against the pats beaten down run d

my team on fd this week
    cam newton
    lacy/l bell
d moore, p garcon, dez bryant
    a gates
    mason crosby
    titans d
