Too many players from one team?

Ok guys this is only my second year doing fantasy, and have a noob question. I am a huge Falcons fan and that is probably clouding my judgment, but last year I did very well in my leagues winning or close to it having Ryan, Jones and Gonzalaz on my team.

This year the way the mock drafts are going I've been able to pick up least 4 players between White, Jones, Ryan, Jackson and Gonzalaz as well as a top line RB like Trent or Martin.

What are the downsides to having this many from one team? Obviously the bye week is a issue, but WR and QB is so deep as long as my 1# RB isn't off same week I think I'll be ok.

Its a dangerous path to take in H2H leagues with that many as a bad game can ruin your entire week. Also having that many guys, (say QB,WR,TE,RB) you limit you max potential for scoring, as even under the best circumstances there are only so many yards/TDs/touches to go around in a single game.

Now its also obviously about value, look to make sure you aren't overrating the players. But if when you look at outside rating you getting good draft value on drafting each of them, why not.

That's the thing I just did a draft got Richardson, Jackson, Julio, Gonzalaz, Ryan,White and Reggie Wayne that seems like a strong team in a 12 man to me. Bench is Eli Manning, Golden Tate, Josh Gordon ect.

But good point on bad game if Ryan has a bad day I'm ******. He had a awful game last season and I got ****** pretty bad.

As long as the team in question isn't some shit bird team like jets, jags, raiders etc..it could work.

I wouldn't take too many from the same team because they are basically sharing stats

During the regular season I don't think it's a major problem. I'd be worried about having too many on the same team once you get to the fantasy playoffs where a bad week or freaky weather day can ruin you completely.

Thought this might be a "fun" bump.

    White Injured
    Jackson Out
    Jones Out for season
    Gonzalaz under performing

Yeah I pretty much screwed this year.
