    Who here runs brackets offline?

Got several old guys that don't know how to use a computer, so I run brackets manually and count points and do all the paperwork.
Been doing this since the 90's.
    Who else does that, here?

Torture. I had buddies who did it two years ago, but they got like 400 entries and said never again.

400, phuck that. I'd stop at 100 or something. 400, I would say to go learn how to use a computer because I couldn't handle that.
The most I ever had was around 80
this year I got 39, not hard

I've run offline brackets for about 10 years now.

Nothing better than highlighting a busted bracket in red and sliding it to the bottom!

I have never done them. I just manually put in offline brackets, but don't do grading. Too much work.

haha agreed, for some reason I get quite a bit of entertainment just manually scoring them.

I do an old school bracket contest for less than a dozen people at work.

alot of people like the process of pencil and paper and sitting down looking at the bracket in real life and not a screen.

I still do mine offline. Have lots of older people from work that arent computer savvy enough and I dont want to go through the trouble of explaining it to every single person. Give them a piece of paper and a pen. And I do get satisfaction from my big black sharpie making marks on people's brackets

I think it's just the opposite, brackets ADD interest to the day because you always have something to root for in games that you don't otherwise have a bet on. Plus I find the whole process of doing brackets that give upset bonuses very interesting, trying to maximize your EV according to the rules.

There are some old people that I have a lot of respect for, that don't do computers.
Some of them, I even created e-mail accounts and CBS/ESPN accounts and they still won't do it.

They're old, and I just let them be. They're in their twilight, and I'm not gonna be a punk, and tell them to learn something they don't have to. They're gonna be dead soon, why should I make them feel stupid about something that's ahead of their time.

    agree LT
The last 2 days felt similar to a day of simulcast horse betting.
The analogy is meant to mean that when you're at the horse track and doing simulcast betting, their is always a screen with a single digit number next minutes to post and then you're following another screen.

I've locked myself into my man cave for the last 2 days and it was great. Watching back to back 12 hour days of basketball was fun.
Carles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Greg Anthony have done great job analyzing games also. Rex Chapman has been pretty entertaining, also.

Since my mid-term Thursday afternoon, I have left my apartment 4 times, once for golf practice, the other three for quick food runs.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who actually locks the doors and enjoys all the games.
