How player salaries determined and when they change
This article explains player salaries in Salary Cap Football, how they are determined and when they change.
All player salaries are adjusted at the end of each professional football week, using a Yahoo! Sports algorithm
that takes into account real-life performance from the current and prior seasons.
All salary adjustments will be computed within a 24-hour period after the final game of each week.
During this period of time, managers will not be allowed to add or remove players from their roster.
Rosters will be unlocked once the salaries for all players in the game have been updated.
No player can ever have a value of less than $1 million, and these values are not,
in any way, based on actual real-life player salaries.
Yahoo! Sports Salary Cap Football is a weekly game that begins on Wednesday, September 5, 2012,
and runs through the end of the professional football regular season on Sunday, January 1, 2013.
You can join the game any time between Wednesday, July 25, 2012, and Sunday, January 1, 2013.
Player slots on your roster will be locked and you will not be able to edit them.
This happens five minutes before the kickoff time for the player in that slot or,
if unoccupied, five minutes before the final game of the week (typically Monday evening).
In order to receive fantasy points for any players on your roster,
ALL roster slots must be filled by five minutes before the final game of the week

You have a total of $100 million with which to build your team. If you run out of available money before filling all positions,
you will need to remove a player(s) and choose less costly players in some positions.
Your available cap room total is displayed in the salary cap details box above your roster of players.
If your available cap room value is less than the cheapest player at an empty position, you will not be able to sign a player at that position.
