Tate Forcier, Michigan's backup quarterback to Denard Robinson has been ruled out of Saturday's Gator Bowl game. He was ruled ineligible because of academic issues.
Normally losing a backup for one game is not that big a deal, and maybe this will turn out to be the case here. With Forcier out, that moves freshman Devin Gardner up as the backup and he could lose a redshirt if he's forced to play.
Forcier was the starter last year and was beaten out by Robinson this season.
Well as long as Denard dosen't get hurt (which with Michigan fans luck, he will) they should be fine. As a Michigan fan, enough is enough!!! please Rich Rod, please. Get us a win already
WR Gallon was running scout team qb. A few other players are former qbs in hs. If its only a play or two it would be stupid to waste Gardners' redshirt for that.
Who cares? Well dunny, I would imagine freshman QB Devin Gardner cares. Maybe his family cares. Maybe the coaching staff cares. Maybe Michigan fans care.
Losing a full year of eligibility for a few plays in a bowl game...hell, I would care.
