Ok cappers, I have read all over this forum about how people should make their own plays and picks. But, if you are a new to betting NCAA football where do you begin to learn how to handicap a game? People follow the picks of others, (Sportspicks3434, 8.20, The Profit, Koyrunner, come to mind), blindly because they do know how to cap a game. So I thought we could start a thread outlining the best way to:
A) Find a game or games where you think you have an edge.
B) What are your parameters for picking games?
C) When to buy 1/2 or 1 point
D) Straight up bets vs parlays/teasers
E) Anything else you can think of.
Hopefully this thread will promote discussions between some of the better cappers in the forum and we can all help each other with new ideas, plays, etc.
Matchups - O lines vs D-lines is HUGE in football.... QB's who dont turn the ball over and play very smart. (makes it easier to predict) Teams that actually have a homefield advantage. coaching, what coaches traditionally have their teams well prepared.... Just some things to think about. Others will have some good info too, but hope this helps.
