Most books don't allow mixed parlays. You can take the game line and game over and you may be able to take 1st quarter line and 1st q over (if they offer 1st quarter over/under). You can also take the 1st half over and 1st half under but you can't mix lines into a parlay, at least books I'm at.

sometimes the correlations of different bets are too intertwined. books a lotta times dont let you combine different bets within the same game because they can be complimentary. like betting on a football team you think will be held under 7 points like this: 2 team parlay cowboys team total under 7, houston texans -130 moneyline....they'd rather just do away with all these possibilities than have to pick and choose which ones effect eachother too closely that people could exploit just to increase their potential win.

sometimes books do let you parlay specific sortsa bets in the same game but i think thats pretty rare.
