    No conference wants ugly stepchild Iowa State football.

    In the whole mix of conference realignment,Iowa State seems to be the odd man out where no other conference wants them.OK,their basketball team is ok but it doesn't make up for their awful football team.So where will they nd up eventually?The Missouri Valley conference?

    They will stay in the Little 10 for now. If the Little 10 eventually folds, they will go to the MWC.

    There is absolutely NO WAY that Arkansas joins the Little 10. They would lose too much money. Texas will NOT allow any other team from Texas to join the Little 10. Texas has repeatedly said that they do not want the conference toexpand past 10 teams so they do not have to play a Conference Championship game.

    The 10-team Big 12 has more to do with the fear of adding a university that will "take a piece of pie without helping make it" more than Texas being scared of a championship game.
