    UTAH: OutYarded by TCU 285-227 in 27-20 W. All 5 W’s TY when RB Mack goes for 100+ ryds.
    Iowa: Fewest pts vs. PU since ‘76 in 31-6 L. #15 Tot Def allowed 431 yds and #5 Score D allowed 31. SQB Christiansen 17-40-177-INT and 5 sax.
    Wisc: Won 12 str at home.
    NILL: 8 of 20 injured on depth chart our for season.
    Temp: Lost SQB DiMichele in 2Q with fractured left shin. BU Charlton 9-13-109. Held MiO to 56 ryds/27c.
    PSU: 4 2H TO’s by IU led to 3 FG’s.

    Kst: SQB Freeman a career hi 404 pyds. OY’ed OkSt 529-510, but allowed 329 ryds in come from behind L. Allowed only 1 sack in 51 patts and 0 INT, but had 3 fums.
    ORE: RB Stewart, now #1as Johnson out for season, had 251-2TD in 55-34 W over Wash. O had 661 tyds with 465 ryds and 39 FD’s.
    WASH: Before scoring 14 3Q pts vs. Ore, had been outscored 56-0 in 3Q L4g. Allowed an avg 279 ryds L4g.
    Tulane: RB Forte set Conf USA 342 ryds in 41-34 OT W over SMU. He was also #2 in ryds before g. Had lost 8 str conf g.
    VIR: Started 3rd string So RB Simpson 16c-119ryds-2TD/ 13rec-152 rec yds for inj SRB Pearman in W over Mary.
    Mich: SRB Hart(#1 ryd/g at 152/g) DNP. Trailed ILL 14-3 in 2Q in 27-17 W. OY’ed Ill 343-253.
    ILL: Had 10 pens-107 yds and again used 2 QB.
    NMxSt: SQB Holbrook back after missing 2 g passed for 404 yds and 3TD in 45-31 W over Idaho. Lost top receiver Williams in 2Q with stress fracture in collarbone.
    NMX: Scored with 15 sec left in g after a SDST fum for a 20-17 W.
    CSU: In hi gusty winds, broke 13 g losing streak with 48-23 W over UNLV. Was OY’ed by UNLV 559-497, but led with 1-5 TO’s.
    LSPhew: W 30-24 vs. Aub on last sec 22 yd PTD after trailing 17-7 at H. Best rec Doucet back after missing most of L5 g. OY’ed Aub 488-296 with 319 pyds.
    Smiss: Led 20-0 in 33-24 W over 0fer Marshall. OY’ed Marsh only 470-408, but held them to 3-13 3rd downs and had 0-4 TO’s.

    Player: Tyrell Sutton RB, Northwestern Wildcats 10/22/07,
    News: ChicagoSports.com is reporting Sutton is scheduled to start Saturday's game against Purdue, after battling a high ankle sprain suffered in the second week of the season.
    Analysis: Sutton played three plays against Eastern Michigan and although he is scheduled to start, backup Omar Conteh will see significant action. (Steven Lassan/PFS)









    Player: Mike Teel QB, Rutgers University Scarlet Knights 10/22/07, Time: 10:04 pm
    News: ESPN.com is reporting Teel wants to play in Saturday's contest against West Virginia - despite battling a bruised hand.

    Status: Out

    News: Updating a previous report, Williams will miss six to eight weeks with the broken collarbone suffered in last week's victory against Idaho.

    News: ESPN is reporting Choice will undergo knee surgery this week.
    The Yellow Jackets have already ruled out Choice for next Thursday's game against Virginia Tech.

    News: The Aggies will be without top receiver Chris Williams, as he will miss six to eight weeks with the broken collarbone suffered in last week's victory against Idaho.

    News: ESPN is reporting the Seminoles have named Weatherford the starting quarterback for Saturday's game against Duke.

    News: The Detroit News is reporting Henne may have suffered a separated shoulder in Saturday's win over Illinois.

    News: Brinkley suffered a broken leg in Saturday's victory over Buffalo and will miss the rest of the 2007 season.
    Brinkley's loss means the Orange are down to their third team running back.

    News: SportingNews.com is reporting Tebow suffered a bruised, non-throwing shoulder in Saturday's victory against Kentucky. Although it appeared Tebow was favoring his shoulder during the game, it did not affect his performance.
    The Gators may limit Tebow's carries in the coming weeks.

    News: The Chicago Sun Times is reporting Sharpley is expected to be the Irish starting quarterback in two weeks, when they play Navy.

    News: Just hours before kickoff against Louisiana Tech, the Broncos announced Johnson would be out two games with a bruised kidney.
    Analysis: Johnson won't play in next week's contest against Fresno and it is expected he will return after that.
