    Of course you can dominate the game w/o scoring. Iowa has more than a 2:1 edge in time of possession, they've held Illinois' running game in check, and they're moving the ball pretty efficiently on offense. I understand your point, but the Hawkeyes controlled the first half.

    Zook could've declined a holding penalty and made it 4th and 4, forcing Iowa to punt. Instead, he accepts the penalty and the Hawkeyes convert on 3rd and long. Hilarious.
