I know I’m late to the party but I have been sports betting seriously for the past 10+ years. College football is definitely my best sport. I’m familiar with sbrforum and several of the posters on here as I’ve been tailing picks in other sports for the past 5 years or so. I’m having a pretty decent bowl season so far. I’ve bet every game and I’m 11-5, but down money because I’ve been losing on the NFL am also because I haven’t been just betting the games. I’ve also been betting quarters, halves, team totals, parlays, and teasers. So the point of this thread for me is to help myself be more disciplined and also for tracking purposes. Feel free to follow and any all questions, scomments, suggestions, and opinions are welcomed. I had Boston College yesterday as my favorite pick and I got a little tilted and lost too much on Georgia tech money line but rebounded a little with TCU. I had a 6 game winning streak going til yesterday. I know none that counts on here because it wasn’t documented. I’ve posted three picks on sbrforum so far and all three ( Jordy Nelson total receptions over 3.5, Jordy Nelson total receiving yards over 42.5 both on Christmas Eve and Giannis antetekumpo total points over 27.5 on Christmas Day) have been winners. I’ll try to share only my premium picks with you guys, and I fully expect close out Bowl season on a winning note. Also I’ll try to provide write ups with most picks because everybody hates picks with no write ups. And now on to the picks:
Duke +4.5 (-133)
Seems like everyone in sbr is on temple which is never a good sign, hence Georgia tech yesterday. I like to compare conferences and the last time the ACC and AAC squared off wake forest defeated temple as an under dog. I don’t think the ACC gets enough respect and I can see no reason for temple to be favored in this matchup. First of all temple is without their head coach while Duke has an excellent head coach with a great track record in games where he has an extended prep time. I know Duke finished the season poorly but most of that stemmed from playing Clemson ( who in my opinion is the best team in the country). Duke played tough in the first half then got pummeled in the 2nd half. It seemed like they put everything they into that game and then came out flat against wake forest on a short turn around. duke is 47-34 as an under dog under coach Cutcliffe. Also they are 13-5 ATS in the 18 games that coach Cutcliffe has had two or more weeks to prepare for. Also Duke is 32-13 ATs in last 45 nonconference games. To make a long story short take the better team from the better conference.
