I don't think they're that far apart. Texas is obviously going to have to make some major adjustments but it's not like they are devoid of talent. They will be up for this game. It gives them an early shot at redemption. If they can topple this giant, it could save their season.
I think Buechele will play and Texas presents more of a threat offensively to the young Trojan defense than do the one dimensional Stanford Cardinal. Defensively UT will have their hands full but if they can possess the ball and put some points on the board, the Trojans aren't going to run away and hide in this game.
