    Good question. I create my own set of power numbers---and right now, I have significantly different ratings for Army and Notre Dame than lines makers do.

    I have ND as 14 points better than Michigan State, and a number down around 6-7 is a steal for me. Pretty much the same for Army right now. Now, the question is obvious. What makes my numbers better than Vegas? Honest answer? Absolutely nothing. But I created them on criteria I view as important to rating each team. So, I'm going with the horse that I rode in on til the bitch throws me off.

    I made a few really dumb mistakes this week, and I'm posting this to call myself out for being a dumbass.

    I thought I was smarter than I am, I do that a lot, I really was convinced the public would push the Michigan line north of 21, and only I was sitting on Colorado. Yeah, wrong. Public has Michigan, but larger money pushing Colorado down. I should have been content with 20.5, I got a bad number.

    Same with USC.
