    South Carolina at Mizzou

Thoughts? Missouri is unbeaten both overall and ATS. They moved the ball much better last week vs. Florida than I thought. I still have to wonder if they're on borrowed time as a Top-10 team, though. Will Spurrier rally the troops this week in Columbia? Seems like a potentially good buy high/sell low chance to fade the Tigers and back SC. Blowdog has a +3 (-110) available right now.

I have been eyeing this as well. Want to pull the trigger on S Carolina, but just can't seem to do it.

Remember what happened to the 3 point home dog in sc last week? I don't have any up to date info but as of 3 days ago Connor Shaw was unable to practice.

I'm not sold on Missouri.. Their wins aren't looking as great now (George drops their following game to Vandy, Florida has struggled without Driskel)

I picture a Gamecock whoopin' or a Mizzou squeak job. Leaning more to the former.

Florida struggled on offense WITH Driskel before he got injured. Their schedule got harder when he was out. Not much changed with the offense at all. Line move is suggesting SC here. Pass for me. Any other opinions on the game are much welcomed.

South Carolina blows in big game spots like this.
Might be safer to ride the Mizzou train until it derails.

I am also taking SC ML, I actually like Dylan Thompson better than Shaw because they will run, run, run and I think that's what they are good at. Did you see the 3Q of the CF game?

I took the three with SC. This seems like a tough spot for Mizzou coming off back to back upset wins, and now they're favored. A couple of weeks ago Missouri was flying under the radar, but now all of a sudden they're undefeated and ranked #5, It's easier to play as the dog, but now the Tigers will be playing with some pressure to keep their high ranking. I think SC is the better team even without Shaw. Teams usually rally around the backup QB and play with a lot of emotion, which is something the Tigers did last week against UF, but now it's SC's turn to be in that position.

Guess I'm on the opposite side of everyone here. I watched the Mizzou Florida game and I was very impressed with what I saw. I thought Florida's speed on D would really force Mizzou's O into some turnovers but it never did. Also, Mizzou's front 4 on D may be one of the best in the SEC - very impressive and will be very important in stopping South Carolina's running game. I have not been that impressed with SC (even with the big win over Arkansas), granted I've watched more mizzou games than SC games. But I really liked what I saw from Mizzou so I'm taking them here. While Mizzou might not have the rowdiest crowd, columbia always seems like a tough place to play for whatever reason.

I do think the Books got this line pretty spot on though. We will see.

Everybody has their own way of handicapping a game. Personally, I put very little stock in how a team performed in their last game, especially in college when you're dealing with 19 year old kids. The fact that Missouri played well last week doesn't have any bearing on how they'll play this week imo. I'm not saying your way of thinking is wrong, I just look at each game as its own separate entity. To me the fact that the Tigers are coming off back to back wins as a dog, and now are favored puts them in a bad spot going up against a Carolina team coming off a loss.
