Another game in Notre Dames Shamrock series where they play a team at a neutral site. Notre Dame has a HUGE fan base all over the country. Notre Dame fans travel well. This game is being played in Dallas in the Jerry Dome and 80% of the fans will be cheering for Notre Dame. ND has done very well in these Shamrock series games. Last year they beat Miami in Chicago 41-3. 2011 ND beat Maryland 45-21. 2010 ND beat Army in NY 27-3 and in 2009 ND beat Washington State in the ALAMO Dome 40-14. This is always a much hyped game for ND. Arizona State is a good team. But you factor in that this will basically be a home game for ND and Arizona State is coming off an emotional win over USC I think taking the point is an easy play here. +6 now and might be able to get the full +7 closer to game time. But I think ASU is the play here.

ND struggling with consistency. They just can't get off the field on 3rd down.

They had cut the lead to 27-21 in the 4th quarter last week against Oklahoma--- and had 3 chances for a 3rd down stop---- and couldn't get it done.
