Louisiana Lafayette +10......Louisiana Monroe +21.5.......Florida International +21.5......LSU/TCU Under 50... With Florida International, I just think the line is set too high. Probably overcompensation for the fact that Maryland does return some talent, at the skill positions in particular, and FIU is going through a coaching transition in addition to mass attrition on both sides of the ball. I do like the fact, however, that FIU returns a starting quarterback, a 1000 yard rusher, and their leading receiver from last year. I think the line is inflated, especially for a first game, and Maryland has to prove that they can create three touchdown-plus separation from anybody before they warrant that type of line, and I'm banking on the fact that that they won't. In the two Louisiana games, I like the personnel both teams return, especially on offense. Broadway and Browning are two terrific quarterbacks, and the experience around them should compensate for any talent disparity that exists between them and their respective opponents. Plus Arkansas is breaking in a new system under Biliema, and both Arkansas and Oklahoma will be starting new quarterbacks. Lastly, LSU and TCU I see as two teams that like to lean on their defense in big games. Athletic on the defensive side, and somewhat conservative on offense, without any notable explosive gamebreakers. This could become a field position game for long stretches, and I think it points to the Under being the play here. Good Luck
I'm gonna quietly go 4-0 today as this thread sinks to the bottom of the page, like some dying, seafaring vessel. Oh well, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

The FIU pick was simply me peppering this thread with a bit of melodrama. If I hit every single pick, monotony begins to take hold. I like a good story arc. See, Florida International is getting their hats handed to 'em, so everyone is gonna dismiss these picks. But this is where the tide begins to turn and I finish the day 3-1. 75% is a phenomenal clip. So just stay tuned....the first pick was the weakest of the bunch anyhow. Monroe, Lafayette, and the LSU game Under is money in the bank.
