    Razorbacks over the Gators?

Am I the only one liking the Razorbacks?

I'm really liking the Arkansas ML in the SEC championship game this weekend against Florida. Houston Nutt has this team team playing great this year, and the new offensive coordinator he brought in there has really been clicking big time this year.

Nawp. The oddsmakers had to install Florida as the favorite, but I'm telling you, Arkansas is the better team. That Wildcat formation is as close to unstoppable as anything I've ever seen. Rushing for over 300 yards against the best run defense in the nation was incredible, and they'll likely do it again this week.

I don't understand why in the arkansas game last week they ran all over lsu and when they have to score to win they throw the damn ball. He had only completed 3 passes the whole day. I think it was stupis play calling if you ask me. They should have run wildcat and went down and scored for the win.

I don't like betting unders too much when there is that much speed on the field, but I'll have to look into this one more before deciding on a side or total play.

I understand what you're saying, but LSU has the best run defense in the nation, and they gave up over 300 rushing yards to Arkansas. Still, I could only play under.

Arkansas's secondary concerns me, but Chris Leak will almost certainly play like a scared little girl AGAIN.

And if I remember corectly, he was throwing bombs, not short high percentage passes to maintaion possession.

I like Arkansas myself at this point, but don't you think that Florida has a better chance to come from behind late with little time left on the clock than Arkansas does? That would be reason enuff to take UF in a game that looks like it might be close and decided in the 4Q.

Im in bama too razz not a fan of bammer and how dare you talk about Leak. He does what a passing qb is supposed to do and is a tuff kid. Arkansas had to rely on alot of trickery to be in the game against LSU and still lost. They use a downhill style of offensive line blocking and run their rb's on the corners having their tackles seal the defensive ends and with both of their rb's speed it gives them huge gains. Arkansas secondary is not as good as Florida their qb isnt as good as Florida's tandem either. Withouth big plays Arkansas cannot keep up with top tier teams. I see Urban having his receivers run the deeper routes in this game more and using the passing game to set up the running game, man I already miss Harvin. Id still lean towards Florida to win this one but to play it safe I would take the moneyline.

The SEC Championship is historically not a close game, for whatever reason. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one be a blowout as well.

You've got to be joking. One of my best friends is a Florida fan, and he repeatedly says Leak plays like a "scared bitch." Not my words, but I agree. He did it in the Auburn game, he did it in the UT game (but the officials bailed him out), he did it in the Georgia game (defensive TD and the clock running out bailed him out), he did it in the South Carolina game (but Moss bailed him out), and he'll do it again Saturday.
Florida's secondary is awful - not that Arkansas can exploit it - but Arkansas's isn't much better.
Harvin will be a star in the SEC, and I think they could easily miss him in this game.

Meyer has been outcoached in every big game this season.
EDIT: Forgot about the LSU game.

He doesn't concern me at all in this game pags. The only thing i'm concerned about is if Florida actually decides to finally show up for all 4 quarters in this game.

You obviously havent been watching Florida's secondary this year, they are better than average with a safety in Nelson whom receivers are in fear of, you sound like a mad bammer fan upset about the going ons over in t-town thinking you can still live off the bear. Florida will miss Harvin and on the astroturf the Hogs speed will really come to life and that is the only thing that makes me think they can win, with big plays and big plays only. Leak is what makes this team go behind his senior leadership. Didnt see Marino tuck it and run alot either, he is a passing qb asked to do something he isnt used to and still he has speed and will run right past defenders, one tough kid if you ask me.

    Yeah, I'm an Alabama fan - http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/hoops/7525...e-bammers.html

Reggie Nelson is a beast. No one else in that secondary is even decent. They made Meacham and Swift look like Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison.

CB Ryan Smith leads the league and 3rd in the nation in INT's with 7, I guess there goes that soft secondary, he is a good cover guy as is Reggie Lewis and Florida is 10th in the nation in total defense. Yawn.

He is no different than Tuberville at Auburn if you ask me, once they got new offensive coordinators their record changed. Arkansas didnt run that offense last year and neither did Auburn's offense run what they run before Borges got there, but these guys dont get the credit, but its Gus Malzone who did this for Arkansas.

Earl Bennett just called. He was wondering if you could send the Florida/Vanderbilt tape to some NFL scouts, they seem to have lost it at Vanderbilt.

I'm just messing with you man. Honestly I don't think Florida's secondary will be a huge factor in this game because Dick sucks (no pun intended). But there isn't anyone at UF - or almost anywhere really - that can cover Monk.

The following statement probably means that the people that have posted in this thread are correct about Arkansas being the correct side:

I love Florida and I'm gonna eat the chalk. I am willing to pay a fee to watch Houston Nutt beat Urban Meyer. Personally, I don't think it can be done. But, if I'm wrong, I'll pay my money to see it. If there is anyone in the country that knows how important the QB is in a gimmick system, it is Urban Meyer. I feel he will exploit that weakness.

I'm not sure it's going to be Florida but I am sure that one of these teams will probably blow this game. I have to admit that Florida is the most likely candidate to blow it, but somehow they've managed to get everyone else to fold up for them so far. I guess Florida is just not that good and everybody they play is too over-confident.
