I just hedged it too and took Oklahoma 2H -7 to win $395
Oklahoma wins by 3, I push that and only lose the $40 parlay
Oklahoma wins by more than 3 and I cash 2h bet and profit $355
Notre Dame wins I cash $1,400 parlay and profit of $965 with Oklahoma hedge bet losing
Oklahoma finds a way to win the game by 1 point or 2 points then I LOSE $475
if Oklahoma finds a way to win by 1 or 2 points i will hate them with a passion until next season

Don't forget Alabama still has to win. I've seen (and been there before) people start cashing wagers before they're over and get bitten in the ass. Not that I think Bama will lose, but crazier things have most definitely happened.
