What College Football teams do you expect to be vastly undervalued?

Who is going to surprise? End up like 12-1 on the year ATS? Want to hear some thoughts on this.

Oregon lost 6 starters on offense and 5 on defense.............including starting QB (Thomas) and starting RB (James). But, they'll reload and remain extremely dynamic on offense. The schedule sets up nicely for the new QB...........first four games at home. However, they have a tough two weeks in early November.......at USC and at Cal. I think they'll put up enough points to cover the line early in the season and on/off the second half. Not "12-1 ATS" as you requested, but still worth a look.

was just going to say Oregon. Brian Bennet is absolutely sick. their offense is going to be unstoppable with him and DAT

I"m sure Kansas State will still be a pretty solid play from week to week. People still don't give them enough credit.

Arkansas will still score points, might even play some defense with casanova petrino off of the campus. Rich rod might not cover any games his first year at arizona, everybody runs his offense in the pac 12.

As long as Rob Bolden never sees the field, could be some nice value on PSU in certain spots/

    some lines here http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/players-ta...es-2012-a.html
Oregon will be vastly undervalued yep everyone will be fading them real darkhorse there

Tenn returns 10 on O +QB and 8 on D. -1 vs. Mizzou. Maybe the worst line from those games. +5.5 vs UF also bad

Nebraska returns 7 on O +3 year starting QB and RB and 7 on D. Redemption year with experience and low national expectation. +2 vs Mich and -3 vs Wisc is a joke. They were also a totally ridiculous -12.5 vs. So Miss at 5Dimes, but the line is now -14.5

    Stanford is an easy fade +5 @ND, +13@Ore, -4 @ Cal

Tennessee -1 vs Mizzou does sound tempting.

    Hmmm.

Well aren't you the funny guy. Funny like ha ha....like a clown. Picker didn't ask for a darkhorse.........he asked who may surprise against the spread. Many players will look at what Oregon lost and expect a step back on offense........my point was I don't see that happening and there may be value early in the season.

    over or under valued?

I think if WSU QB can stay healthy.............they'll surprise some people. I'm a believer in the Leach system........in that it can elevate a football program from mediocre to annual bowl game contender. We'll have to see what he can do with the defense though. WSU isn't as skilled and/or deep as many in the Pac 12.

Life would be easy if we could predict who's going to go 12-1 ATS before it happens.

We could all retire if that 12-1 team lost that 1 game early.

Agreed willie.. they might be playing a lot of games in the 40s.. should be good for some late night east coast action.. gonna be following ru real close live 5 mins from the stadium, think they'll surprise some people even with schiano leaving.. schiano was not a good game day coach, think they can be much improved with a one qb deal and enough rotating

TCU will be undervalued in the Big 12 because people think they cant compete in the league. But TCU is better than Okie State and Texas two teams they are dogs against right now. Grab TCU now in those games because I think TCU will eventually be favored in them

    Keep an eye on:

    Louisiana Tech
    SMU
    Central Florida

All will be undervalued in non conference. All 3 have home games vs. SEC teams in non conference. Load up on the points they will get in those games.

YOU are a smarty pants my friend. I am semi-confident in your Louisiana Tech ATS prediction, but HELLA confident in UCF and SMU ATS this year. The OSU vs UCF game will be closer than we will expect and that is early in the year. I will be at the Mizzou vs UCF game and I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them. GOOD ATS teams you have listed there my friend.

    SMU vs. Baylor
    UCF @ Ohio State

I really think that the "smaller" schools here are actually the better team in all of the matchups listed. It's pretty much rebuilding major conference team that is not really going to make any noise this year vs. the strongest teams in the WAC/CUSA who return a lot and have the experience needed. However all 3 teams will be dogs in these games, likely by 14 points or more. But take the points, I think on paper they are the better teams and will get the home crowd behind them too. I'd bet the money line in LA Tech vs. Texas A&M and UCF vs. Missouri, I think those are straight up wins.

Just by looking at Week 1, here are some games that catch my eye and my guess on what the line will be:

    Minnesota -13 @ UNLV
    South Carolina -17 @ Vanderbilt
    Texas A&M -17 @ Louisiana Tech
    Washington State +21 @ BYU
Tennessee +3 vs. North Carolina State
    Notre Dame -21 vs. Navy
San Jose State +28 @ Stanford
    Tulsa +7 @ Iowa State
    Ohio +14 @ Penn State
    Wyoming +24 @ Texas
San Diego State +14 @ Washington
    Southern Miss +21 @ Nebraska
    Iowa -10 vs. Northern Illinois
    SMU +14 @ Baylor

So many teams are inflated or deflated in non conference, especially in Week 1, based on what conference they play in and the logo on their helmet, not on how good their team is.

    Take the bolded teams here
