Wyoming + 7? First Bowl game, what am i missing?
Why is Temple constantly getting overrated. Favored at Ohio, lost outright. The next week favored by 13 at home against Miami OH, won by 3.
Wyoming quietly had a fantastic year.
I don't understand why Vegas keeps over-valuing Temple.
Playing WYO +7, ML + 215 and TT o 20.
Wyoming cant stop the run. Temple is going to control the game. Utah State ripped this Wyoming team to shreds and they run the ball very well like Temple.
Agreed. Wyoming is a very bad defensive team when it comes to stopping the run. Temple's defense held opponents to under 17 points 9 times this season. How is Wyoming going to score?

How is that overrated?
Temple averages 256 yards rushing per, and Wyoming allows almost 200 yards per game rushing.
That can't be good for Wyoming.

Looks like i'm in the minority here leaning towards Wyoming
#30 RB Bernard Pierce is fine now and certainly will play. RB Brown is nearly as good. OL is big, experienced. Wyo has good QB but will have to make a lot of noise by air against a stingy D to hang in there. Temple big.
I do better betting on sports when I bet emotion, spots, and feel.
I feel like Wyoming covers this if not wins outright. They're pretty pumped to be in this game. Temple isn't a world beater by any means. I'll take the +7 screw the stats.

I lean towards Wyoming also, as they have outgained their last 4 opponents (Temple has been outgained in 4-5 last games).

2. as already stated- temple is a running team.

Temple outgained 4 of last 5 games. Cowboys come in stronger, outgaining last four opponents. Wyoming run defense has been a problem, but a quick glance at the defensive numbers could be misleading. Faced Boise, TCU, and Neb. Beat Bowling Green outright + 9 . Won two games outright as DD dogs, San Diego St and Air Force.
Temple schedule soft this year. Pokes have a strong history of rewarding backers as dogs. Will Owls be breathing hard late in the game? Elevation of + 5300 won't bother Wyoming. Would anyone really be surprised to see the Cowboys win outright? Wyoming 2-0 in bowl games as DD dog.
i just took the over of 50.5, if wyoming and temple each score in the first quarter i'm hoping for a shootout, don't matter to me who wins. It's a big hope though

The Cowboys are gonna score... but they're not gonna score enough to stay within the seven-point spread.
Temple is very good at running the zone read and those big-ass offensive linemen are going to wear the Wyoming D out by the middle of the third quarter (if not sooner).
Cowboys should find scoring a tad bit easier in the fourth quarter.
