38-14 loss at bama, 31-28 at vandy (outgained by almost 100 yards in this one), 29-24 at ole miss LOL.
clear to me this is a different team on the road from at home. do have a close win vs a n m at a neutral site, but my god have they played a pretty easy schedule being an sec team.
i am a bit surprised this opened this high, although they were getting i think 12 at bama, and that was very early on.

LSU is gonna run all over them damn boys. Arkansas aint beat no damn body and u really think they gonna go in Death Valley and win? The first 4 or 5 best players on the field play for LSU!
I pimped Arkansas against Bama... What a bad game that was. I don't know how this one will go. I will say that the MAIN advantage Arkansas would have on a normal week is genius level game preparation. BUT. This is a short week so there is a strike. There was a death on the team this week. Petrino has been putting on press conferences and arranging team travel arrangements to the funeral instead of breaking down Mathieu's tendencies. Another big strike. Then you throw in death valley.
However, if the past is the best predictor of the future then Arkansas will take this one. Its easy to say "who goes into death valley and wins" but they have say that every time and we have won 3 of the last 4.
Responding to adversity is an incredible tell of a team. Arkansas will have that opportunity on Friday afternoon on the biggest stage of them all with a shot at the BCSCCG on the line. This team has 17 seniors that are widely credited for building the foundation for Petrino's football kingdom in Fayetteville. Playing for a fallen team member will either result in the sharpest hog play or the sloppiest hog play of the year. Don't be surprised if that receiving corp holds on to the catches across the middle with a little extra heart as they get stroked by those NFL D backs.
Alabama is the closest opponent that we have to compare against. That was a disaster for many reasons. We could not protect the quarterback long enough for recievers to get 3 yards down field. However, we were missing multiple key impact players and had not developed a running game by that point. Since then, all of our studs have returned and Dennis Johnson has emerged as a viable replacement for Knile Davis.
Don't look now but Greg Childs had 5 catches last game. If the Greg of old shows up for the LSU game then that will just free up Wright, Adams, Hamilton, and Gragg as well.
