    Temple @ Ohio Write up....

AS THIS LINE -3.5 IS TEMPTING AND SCREAMING...TAKE TEMPLE!!!! DONT DO IT!!!

Ohio will be wearing there special black jerseys and helmets come tonight. Ohio has beaten Temple the past 2 years and Temple was as good then as they being considered now. Temple is know for there Defensive play and Run game. The heart of this defense is the front 7...the only weakness is the secondary, but the only problem with that is most QB's dont much time before a temple player is in your face. Ohio will the use same game plane as they did last year and what Toledo and Bowling green used to keep Temple "True" on defense. force them to play Nickle defense by spreading them out thin across the feild. Ohio has the QB play and reciever play to move the ball and put up points on Temple. On defense they will stack the box and force Temple to throw the ball as they will increase the risk for a turnover since there QB play is awful. Ohio main goal will be to slow down their run game. On Offense Brazill will be their weapon of chioce and Temple doesn't have anyone that can match this kid as he is one of the best players in MAC. Ohio is a well balanced offense that has been troubled by turnovers so far this season. Turnover margin will be critical in this game. Current line is 4 and that is good enough for me take Ohio +4 as Ohio has had their # over the past years and these teams and players are about unchanged and Ohio will match the intensity of this Temple team. The Over/Under favors Ohio and the Over has cashed the last 2 meetings.

Additionally, Ohio is 6-1 on weekdays vs Temple being 1-5 on weekdays and Temple is 0-7 as favorites w/rest. Ohio is 6-1 at home off double digit ATS win (beat Akron last week by 17), AND they are 5-0 after playing Akron! I agree with Pickmaster's analysis on everything said in lead-in post. Take Ohio and the points as well as the over. Go Bobcats!

I couldn't agree more with this write-up. Ohio always plays Temple hard. Last year with Temple listed as a 10 pt favorite at home they lost to Ohio by 8 pts. The year before that Temple was favored by 2 and they lost that game by 17. It seems that everytime these 2 teams play Ohio has had Temple's number. This is a Wednesday night game, being played in the cold in Ohio...the line is begging for people to take Temple.

Temple's pass game is almost non-existant, they are predominately a rushing team gaining most of their yards on the ground and with their stud running back nursing a hamstring injury, they are going to have to hope for a big game from their 2nd string back in order to stay in this game. their defense has played well ( 2nd in FBS in points allowed ) which has helped to take the pressure off of their offense. Ohio is an extemely balanced team that both runs and passes the ball well. Ohio is also only allow about 115 rushing yards per game on defense. If Ohio can keep the Temple running game in check and force some 3rd down and longs, Temple could struggle to get points on the board.

Temple on paper seems like the better team, but Ohio has always matched up well with them. I wouldn't expect a shootout tonight, but with points probably coming at a premium, I would have to go with the team that will have an easier time throwing the ball in 3rd down situations. I'd take Ohio +3.5 ( buy up to 4 ) and the Under....

According to sportsbook spy, 52% on the under and it's gone from 44 to 47.5. Anyone make anything of this?!?
