I think this year could be there year.
Former head coach of Miami-Ohio Terry Hoeppner is starting his 2nd year with the hoosiers, and he has this team believing in themselves. Hoeppner is implamenting something that Indiana football was lacking for many years now, and that is values and a winning adtitude.
The hoosiers started fast out of the gate last season, and faded like cheap wall paper after that 4-1 start. I do not look for a repeat preformence this year from this team.
heres there 2006/07 schedule:
as you can see this team does play alotta games in the state of Indiana this year, which is to there advantage.09/02/06 Western Michigan Bloomington, Ind.
09/09/06 Ball State Muncie, Ind.
09/16/06 Southern Illinois Bloomington, Ind.
09/23/06 Connecticut Bloomington, Ind.
09/30/06 Wisconsin Bloomington, Ind.
10/07/06 Illinois Champaign, Ill.
10/14/06 Iowa Bloomington, Ind.
10/21/06 Ohio State Columbus, Ohio
10/28/06 Michigan State Bloomington, Ind.
11/04/06 Minnesota Minneapolis, Minn.
11/11/06 Michigan Bloomington, Ind
11/18/06 Purdue West Lafayette, Ind.
my projection of this team is winning 6 to 7 games, and will be bowling this year.
