Neither game was a domination by any means whatsoever. You're so clueless bro. This is why people lose money.

PSU alum here, I've watched every Penn State game since 2004 when I went there, yes.....our offense has been horrible this year but Northwestern's defense is pretty soft and our defense is decent. I'm sure Persa will put up some points but I don't think it will be enough to cover, I would stay away from this bet. It will probably be a close game at the half but I expect PSU to pull away in the 2nd half.

I'd bet you on this game t-wizzle but since you're not SBR Pro, you wouldn't be able to transfer me the points if you lost. I think non SBR Pro's can only transfer like 2 points a day or something like that.

This is true. That's why, in every series, be it a season series or playoff series, the team that wins the first game wins the series 100% of the time in a sweep. I don't know how I could have missed this valuable, groundbreaking insight.

Northwestern's defense is horrible, so PSU's offense being sub par might not even matter here.

PSU's defense is for real though, so NW's in trouble.

They were going for Paterno's 400th win and it was played at home. If anything, you should be concerned that Penn State was trailing in the game 21-0.

How has Penn State's offense done against Purdue's defense so far? How about Iowa's? Temple's? Indiana's?

IF I were you, I'd be more concerned that PSU's defense absolutely destroyed Persa and the wildcats in the 2nd half last year, and that PSU's defense is better this year than it was last year.

Yes, and you are a genius for betting on a team with a 4 game losing streak, including a loss to Army...

Listen, the fact is, NW's defense is very soft in the middle, and PSU's strength is pounding the ball.

Silas Redd and Dukes will wear that NW defense down, they are both running great this year.

NU is the play here. Now that Persa has had a couple of games under his belt I'm expecting to see his best performance of the season to date. Penn St just edged out a bad Purdue team at home. Their last road game they beat a horrific Indiana team 16-10. The Wildcats are desperate for a win here and I think they get it done. I also see them winning four or possibly five out of their last six games to make a fourth straight bowl game.

Not really. Books have been getting killed ALL year setting favorites too low, and this is just another case of it.

The average gambler doesn't consider that PSU's strength is their big, effective offensive line and power running game, and that NW's downside is their interior run defense, which allowed Iowa to run for 155 yards (5.5 yards per carry)

PSU is twice the running team that Iowa is... so good luck to Northwestern this Saturday. Penn State is going to average 6-7 yards per carry and control the clock and the ball.

46 rushing attempts for PSU last year, 260 yards gained.

PSU's offensive line was also very young last year. They are much better this year.

I win money. My strategy is just to win money. As for this game, -4 is a small play... but if taking a horrible Northwestern team at +4 is someone's best play of the day, when there are tons of games, then that person needs to quit gambling.

Northwestern's best win is against a 1 win team. I just want to let that sink in.

The Nittany Lions have a really solid defense but the offense is just flat out anemic. The running game has come around but they still struggle to put up points on the board. Northwestern nearly knocked off a then-undefeated Illinois team in Champaign and followed that with a blown 10 point lead to lose to a really good Michigan team. I think what we are seeing with Northwestern is that they are right on the edge of being a decent team but they just can't put together a whole game. Since Dan Persa has come back the offense has looked really good and I think that this is the week the Wildcats put it all together. This is a really big game for them and they will be looking to avenge a loss in Happy Valley last year. Keep in mind, Northwestern was leading 21-0 last year before blowing that game. Like I said, PSU's defense is stout, but Northwestern has the weapons to give them some problems and move the ball down the field. No one is better at betting Penn State games on this site than me. Trust me on this one fellas. Northwestern +4 -110 (4x); ML +155 (1x)

How is this the best play on the board???

the best college football play is Boise State first half. Boise has covered about 80-85% of their first half spreads over the last 2 seasons including a 6-0 record this year

You can't possibly tell me that northwestern has an 80+% chance of covering this spread, I can tell you that boise state definately has an 80+% chance of covering their 1st half spread
