I am currently 6-1 in the bowl games. I still cant believe that Central Michigan had only 13 points with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter. If you would have told me that CM lost 55-50.... I could have accepted that. BUT 13 points? Really? Oh well.... we move on.

Here is what I like Saturday...

Cal -8 I locked this game in at 8. I see it is now at 10. Miami has suspended 5 players including their starting QB. A freshman QB will be starting for Miami. Miami will be good in 2 years.... .but now they are young and they get the beat down.

West Virg +1 Everyone wants to talk about how this is a home game for NC. Well it was a home game for Central Mich last night. The fact is the stadiums are 1/2 empty in the bowl game so home field is not a factor.

Wisc +6 This is a tough game but I like Wisconsin to hang tough in this game. Florida State wins.... but with a field goal.

I'm playing 2 units on Cal and 1 on WV and Wisc.

I love WVA this afternoon! I think the option will cause havoc on UNC's deffense just like it did when they played Gtech this year.

I'm an FSU homer so i'm laying off. However, I think a major concern for the noles will be slowing down Wisky's running game (FSU doesn't have a strong stop unit), FSU will have no problem shutting down Wisky's passing game (because they don't have one -lol). FSU does have the best kicker in college football so i'll agree with your prediction - FSU by 3

Prob staying away from Miami but w/ 10pts? i may lean w/ Miami and thier speed on that fact alone.

one point about home field advantage in bowl games:
tickets are split 50/50 b/t schools so the advantage is a mute point IMO. sure if a game is close to the school they're probally gonna be more fans there but no where near the same as playing in an opponents stadium.

I sure hope WVA's triple option handles Carolina's defense the same way Georgia Tech did. If WVA only scores 7 as GT did on UNC it'll be over by halftime.

Also, this game WILL be sold out. The crowd will be split enough that they wont decide the game though.

While I am a Carolina homer, I don't bet my heart. I keep reading two things. White will win the game alone and WVU will win with it's running game alone. If WVU is has no passing game it'll allow UNC to concentrate on the run and as a result hurt White.

XYZ - I never said they won did I? But if you recall that game, they allowed 336 rushing yards (6.5 yards per rushing play) to Georgia Tech’s option. Thats not good!!!! Regardless if they won or not. Good luck

That Florida St/Wisc game is a tough one for me. The Big Ten blows. I think you are looking at this game the same way I am capping the Missouri/Northwestern game. I think Missouri's speed is wayyyy too much for NW.

Miami has not impressed me much. I was on Cal early at 8 and now with the suspensions I like them even more. If that line goes to 10.5 I might just bet the middle.
