"Wyoming (+21!) ML???--has prepared for Nebraska for 3 years"

“The town of Laramie and the state of Wyoming, they’ve been getting ready for this game now for three years,” third-year coach Dave Christensen said.

I don't anything about college hwat can you all tell me about this game. I know Nebraska is not a top 10 team though I watched a few of their games and it looks like Wisconson is a better big 10 team.

Aren't the odds good? That quote is great

first off...did you just seriously say wyoming ml? just send that money to me man. i got nebraska -23...but i wouldn't fault anyone who sees value in the +21. they will be jacked up...but that goes away after the first few times you get scored on. just don't think it can make up for a huge talent gap. wyoming has played nobody at all. nebraska beat fresno and washington by 2 tds each last 2 games...and i think both of those teams are better than wyoming. that d has given up over 500 yards twice already against a laugher of a schedule. nebraska should be able to do whatever they want in my opinion...but just my thoughts.

I was just looking at this

    A better play is 1st half +13 -120 or 1st Quarter +6.5 -105

-28 vs. Fresno State at home: Nebraska lost 1st Q 14-7, lost half 17-14, won the 2nd half 28-12 (won game 42-29)
-17 vs. Wash at home: Nebraska won 1st Q 10-7, won half 20-17, won 2nd half 31-21 (won game 51-38)

Nebraska has been sleep walking at home, mostly in the first half, to inferior teams and teams rarely just start performing the next week on the road. Good chance they lead small at half/quarter and pull away in the 2nd half

Wyoming beat Bowling green last week by 1 point. They did this though on the back of Bowling green giving up 4 lost fumbles and 2 intercepts. Bowling green were easily the better team in general play.
There is no way i would be getting on wyoming here and especially not ML

while i dont think a ton of Neb and totally agree wiscy is the class of big 10, i gotta say they were built to play against the talented spread teams in the big 12 so i just dont see points for a much improved wyo offense, these guys run the O that neb has been built to stop and played on a weekly basis in the big 12 but with less talent. even tho spot not good for Huskers and i agree they prob overrated, imho the matchup for the D is extremely favorable in this gm.

This is another one of my big plays (Nebraska -21.5). Home field really doesn't mean a thing when the talent gap is this big. Wyoming has a chance to hang for a quarter or two but eventually Nebraska blows this open. The Nebraska D has had a tough couple of weeks, but that's even more reason for them to tee off against an overmatched foe.

I've got a writeup of the game here, as well as all 7 other Big Ten games (plus picks). I went 5-1 ATS, +6.9 (units) last week.

totally agree with you on illini and altho i havnt played neb i think that the only way to go. Do you see the same thing as me here that neb D will feel right at home against a spread team (think this is a key point that is being lost in this gm)? dont think they are equip to handle power run teams in the big 10 at this point but against a mediocre team that runs the kind of offense they are accustomed to dealing with i just dont see the points for wyo here.

I agree with you Dan - I don't trust non-AQ teams that run the spread against good BCS defenses at all. Especially Wyoming who isn't one of the better teams in that category. Also, who on Wyoming's defense can slow down Taylor Martinez? The guy should be able to run circles around their linebackers.

The last two top-tier teams that have gone to Laramie (Boise and Texas) won by 30+, this one looks about the same to me.

Yeah seriously, Wyoming is no one. Why anyone take them is beyond me. They play no one. This game will be a completely blow out

the best value was Wyoming +24 earlier in the week. Nebraska struggles on defense in the secondary and can be scored on. I would take my chance with the points in this one.

Forgot to mention another key point to this game. Nebraska travels to play #6 Wisconsin next Saturday night under the lights on ABC so their focus on the Cowboys may not be 100% today.

This is more important to me than any of the previous statements...

I also heard that the NEB fans couldn't get tickets so they bought season tickets. Should be an interesting environment. That said, NEB will take this one by 20+.
    A no play for me.

wyoming looked pretty good. they played with a lot of energy. might bet on them next time, if the spread is right.
