Florida st has a rash of injuries. QB Manuel hurt his shoulder against oklahoma. If Manuel cant go, redshirt freshman Clint Trickett would get his first start. 2nd leading receiver for the seminoles Scooter Haggins is out 4-6 weeks. In addition, seminoles might be without receivers Bert Reed and Kenny SHaw. Seminole's leading rusher from last season, CHris Thompson, has been hampered with a stress fracture in his back and has not displayed the explosiveness he exhibited last season. Thompson has only 45 yards on 16 carries and one of those runs was 19 yards against lousiana monroe. Auburn Running back Dwyer is something special. He had a huge game against clemson. Florida st does not have any explosive backs like dwyer and will not be able to run the football against clemson. Clemson is going to to take a big lead on florida st in the first half. Florida st is battered and brusied. Not a good time to play at clemson. I cant believe that FLorida st is a 3 point favorite. My play is:

Florida State absolutely has explosive backs, but their o-line hasn't been able to move anybody off the ball. Manuel has a medium grade AC joint sprain, they are looking to see how much ligament damage there actually is.
