    Houston/LA Tech opinions

I usually wait until Thursday to make my picks when I get them from Dr. Bob but I'm really liking this Houston line.

Anyone else think Houston -7 is looking good? I know Houston's offense will put up points with anyone, the only question is whether or not LA Tech can keep it close...I don't think so.

    Opinions?

I thought I liked it and I posted it -7.5 as it opened. I don't like seeing 70% public numbers and the line at -7 now.

Course of my 10 games this week only 2 have turned out to not be heavy public favs which always suck.

Yes, I would have to agree that it is a little puzzling that the line dropped to -7. I'm still finding it hard to believe that Houston doesn't cover again this week as they are 2-0 ATS so far and LA Tech let Central Arkansas put up 42 last week.

Ride Houston all season. Not a great D, but they can score at will. 7 shouldn't be a problem. You could also wait for the team total. Anything up to the low-mid forties is manageable for them.

I was thinking of taking Houston too, especially since LA Tech let Cent Ark take them into OT. But here's what made me back off...

Even though they did beat the spread, Houston had a bit of a tussle against North Texas. I think it took them a while to really get going. Also...

LA Tech is 9-2 ATS their last 11 as a home dog.

Houston is 2-7 ATS as a road favorite since '09.

These might be some of the reasons the line is going down.

Houston should get around 40 tt but if houston expecting to score 40 then -7 is a good solid bet ...70 1/2 for over is alot

Dr. Bob picks coming out in 10 minutes but I wanted to say that I already locked in Houston at -7. GL everyone!
