Stanford's a huge public play, and all of the Johnny Come Latelys who sign up for this on Saturday morning are going to get bent over.
Bookmaker opened at -15.5. A lot of people are going to get burned for taking a bad number. Stanford wins by 17 or 18.

I booked Standford on 9/4 at 11:12pm (Sunday night), the whole market was -20 at the time.
If you do your own line Stanford would be around -20.78.
I don't really believe anyone can get -15.5 at anywhere, beside I thought one would check for multiple books at the same time to see whether a real move, isn't not? Unless you think bookmakers is the sharpest book for college football.
By any chance did you see Stanfords game last week??? They put up points pretty much every drive. This is Luck's last year and is going for it all(Heisman, NFL, First overall pick, Natinal Titile) to stay at the top in collage ball you must score and score in bunches!! Luck will have the foot on the gas and wont let up till the fourth qtr whistle blows. Stanford -20.5
I'm not touching this one, but expect Stanford to roll rather easily. However, back door cover is always possible because, like you mentioned, if you didn't get on it early, you could be stuck with a 42-23 type game and lose. Good luck NC.

Last year, Stanford beat Wake Forest like 68-24. I see a repeat. Duke's got a terrible pass defense and Stanford has the best QB in the nation. And its not like this is a noon/1pm start on the East Coast, its a 3:30pm game.

Hell, in theory, you should be able to put your entire bankroll on Stanford -21 and cash.

You had very valid points Andy Dufresne. :-) And I was concerned about this one until Stanford started to run away with it in the 2nd half. I took Stanford last Monday. This was my top play for this week, as it just lept out at me when I looked at the line. Sometimes I think we get caught up in overanalyzing things. I just couldn't see how Standford could not crush Duke.

I liked Stanford, Wisconsin, and TCU but didn't play any of them because they looked way too easy.
I mean seriously, they looked so easy I started to think shit teams like Duke, Oregon State, and Air Force were the "plays". At that point, I was so mind ****** I decided not to play any of them....

I parlayed WIS, Ohio State ML (I live in Ohio and knew the Bucks wouldn't cover this one)... hell they almost lost str8 up and fukkked me BIG TIME.
Parlayed them with Stanford spread and Oregon spread. It looked easy... it hit, but still had that one close game.
I was scared to add in TCU tho... or Auburn, or Alabama to the mix. Still tho, a big hit.
