Maybe Alvarez by KO? Not sure why props aren't out as this is a pretty big event.

Should be slight +money since WGD is like (-180). I'm guessing we'll get it at (+120)

That's the angle I'm thinking as well. Technically Canelo has him beat, Canelo has the power to offset the size but he will have to wear him down a bit. Chavez can take a punch and he knows it, actually embraces it and at times takes too many shots for his own good. Canelo should work the body early.

Yup agreed , Chavez will be extremely drained from the cut this fight which I think will effect his durability long term.. 2 mexicans going at it , will be a war for sure but I think Canelo will start tagging him inside , since Chavez doesn't use his length it'll play into canelos advantages and probably hurt him to the body then get a finish around the 8th I'm hoping

either way should be a solid fight if Chavez comes in shape , always known for not taking camps or weight cuts seriously

Alvarez has some excellent counter uppercuts. Wonder if that could come into play here. Alvarez by stoppage in Rounds 6-12 is probably worth a look as well as is live-betting WGD.

Canelo ITD opened at (+135). Quickly down to (+110).

Might just roll the dice and go Canelo decision if odds are better and hope Chavez shows up and can take all the punishment ... just worried about the body shots since he's sucking so much weight and is supposedly looking like a skeleton

Canelo UD is probably better. I don't think this fight will be close.

They haven't come out yet. I'm guessing (+170). Canelo ITD back up to (+150).

tough call if theyre around same odds...
chavez has fought much bigger guys and survived to a decision, but him sucking so much weight could make him less durable
basically a coin toss which to take at this point..

I may do both, heavy on ITD with a little sprinkle on the decision.

Canelo by decision for me at +165 fellas.. GL!!

Jr is a decision fighter and durable.. I think it's worth a shot at those odds.. I think he barely survives the 12 rounds...

511 Alvarez wins by 12 round decision +165

Official Prediction: Canelo Alvarez def. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by Round 9 TKO. Alvarez bludgeons a bloodied Chavez Jr. against the ropes with uppercuts to the head and hooks to the body until the referee mercifully steps in to stop the fight.

I thought about that but all of Jr's fights go to decision and he wins mostly all of them.. Might be a split if he shows up..

From what I've been reading all the boxing experts are picking this as well.. A late stoppage...

I think Jr will man up and survive the 12 rounds. We see???? It's not like he been KO'd in fights.. Dude is tough and makes it to decision in all his fights basically..

    Jr is a decision machine..https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julio_...Ch%C3%A1vez_Jr.

Odds are fat for those but Jr has only 3 TKO's in his last 15 fights. Canelo has a chin too.. Don't see it happening..

On the flip is more likely happen if it does IMO..

    583 Alvarez wins in round 7-9 +629

    585 Alvarez wins in round 10-12 +431

Odds moved for Alvarez by decision from +100 to +150.
    i'll take it.
Chavez been fighting bigger and stronger guys in his division, he'll be able to last the whole fight. Unless, the weight drain got to him.
