The russian he is fighting is decent. He might have better striking than Maia & his wrestling is good. His MO is ground & pound. But Maia will probably sub him via triangle or arm bar.

Is Jason the best play of the card for actual UFC fighters?

I can't believe I'm about to say this but...

...if the line moves against Moldonado, which i assume it will, there might be some ever so slight value.

I think the market already agrees with that to some extent. It seems like this line should've hit -1000 pretty fast.

Yeah, I had the same feeling, especially since there seems to be a trend of steam coming in on heavy favourites and driving their numbers up.

Fight day is when the line has been moving heavily. Hoping for more of the same. Weigh ins should help since Fabio will look like a bag of milk.

So what you're saying is your max bets haven't even put a dent in the lines then?

Heh, I haven't bet it. I rarely cap main events as the lines tend to get released before I get around to looking at them, and I have difficulty coming up with a good number once I'm anchored to a release.

No comprende...? main events usually have the most value and highest limits?

I like to think I can still cap decently even when anchored.

Why does the fight being in Brazil give the underdogs better chances?

^^^Stipe Miocic and Damian Maia in a parlay bet is the call I think.. I certainly don't see the dogs winning in either of those 2 fights...

Maia should have an easy time, and as long as Stipe doesn't stand and trade too much I can't see him losing either.....

Stipe should own Maldonado on the ground even though Maldonado has shown decent take down defense in his previous fights.. Stipe is too big, strong and athletic and should get the take downs at will and then commence the brutal ground and pound is my thinking..

Still got to bet a lot to win a little unfortunately.. A win is a win though...

Add Elias Silverio to the parlay and you're at almost even odds. Stipe should win as long as he fights with a modicum of intelligence and puts Maldonado away on the ground. The only way Maia should lose is if he gasses out and even then the fight will likely be close. I'm on all chalk this weekend, so I'm hoping the favorites come through.

i feel like judging is particularly shady there, no? I feel like that was a factor a while back but i could be mistaken for somewhere else. Damm and Magomedov have been going to a lot of decisions lately, im liking the brazilian at home.

But, im also a good fade

That could very well be a close fight. I have a little on the over, which is sitting at -175 right now on 5D.

Mago is no joke. He has a victory vs Maia's opponent. He defeated the Russian rapper at 170 lbs. His striking is better than Damm's & Damm will not be able to get the fight to the ground.

Both Yakovlev and Tony Martin were able to get him down in the first round (Yakovlev in the second as well) but Magomedov was able to defend further attempts and win the striking. With the way Damm's been fighting lately, I'm not entirely sure if he'll shoot in at all. I see Magomedov taking a decision or late stoppage.
