Patrick is being ridiculously overvalued here and I'm not sure why. I'd be inclined to believe that it's the perception that Makdessi is susceptible to being grinded out by good wrestlers, but Patrick is not a good wrestler. He does the exact same thing every fight, and I can almost guarantee you that he'll circle for a few moments as if he's going to strike, and then he'll wildly rush towards Makdessi, throw a punch, and try to wrap his arms around Makdessi's legs for a takedown. He's incredibly predictable. He's also never fought outside of Brazil before, for what that's worth here, and has shown to fade deep into fights, which is something Makdessi should be able to take advantage of, if Patrick even makes it that far. One of the only things I'm truly worried about is the fact that Patrick is a southpaw, and Zahabi has shown over and over again that he doesn't understand that matchup. If that weren't a concern, I'd bet much bigger here.
