    Cain Would Destroy Overeem

    I'm a big allistair fan from his pride days. But he has a suspect chin. I think Cain would smash him. What you guys think?

    They way I see it, the best fighters in the world are in the UFC (for the most part) so Yes I think Cain would win

    I'd love to see Overeem in the UFC, but there are still some interesting matchups for him in Strikeforce. And yeah, Cain would probably take him down and smash him.

    Overeem won't be coming to the UFC. Dana would never let him fight in K1 and I don't think he wants to give that up.

    I think Overeem is a beast, but I don't know about this one.

    But I want to see this matchup now. NOW!

    This may be the next superfight. Overeem can get the K-1 out of his system and sign with the UFC for 3 fights or so.

    Well, one reason is the manner in which Cain V. DESTROYED Lesnar. He didn't just beat him, he outclassed him and destroyed him. JDS is awesome as well, but Cain looked like a superman. And, you start to think about marquee/fight of the century matchups for him.

    If Dos Santos can improve his cardio it may make things pretty interesting. Roy Nelson is no Cain, but JDS looked to have pretty solid takedown defense. Not to mention, he's said to have some nice BJJ. If that's not just hype, it could make for some intriguing variables to factor into the fight.

    That said, Cain via TKO late in the first round.

    The fight is very hard to analyze considering there is still a lot of unknown's when it comes to JDS's ground game. JDS obviously has the better striking, but cain has proven wrestling, cardio and ever improving striking.

    If I can get JDS at 200+ I'll probably lay half a unit on him.

    JDS is a good boxer, but he isn't going to just make up the wrestling deficit that exists between him and cain with a few years of training at blackhouse.

    Look at mark munoz his wrestling actually got worse when he went to train at blackhouse.

    Overeem would destroy Cain standing. Overeem fights good/great strikers in K-1 all the time. The only real striker i recall Cain beating was Kongo who almost koed Cain twice.

    Cain knows this. He won't try to bang with overeem. Will take him down like all wrestlers do when they are scared to stand and bang. Overeem sux on the ground. He has a great guillotine choke, but it is a standing guillotine.

    Overeem vs Cain would be the 2 best heavyweights going at it. Tough to call. Cain's chin is far from suspect, its granite. Overeem's chin is a huge weakness. Overeem is not just a striker, he has great submissions too. JDS is overrated, Cain will expose him.
