    Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy +160

Hardy will redeem himself tonight after being knocked out by Condit in England. Just got caught in that one... he loves to stand up and bang. Also, his ground and pound via elbows is vastly underrated. In my opinion, he should be the favorite for this fight.

During Anthony Johnson's 16-month layoff, his weight went up to 231 pounds. That's a significant drop back to 171. If he makes the mistake and keeps this fight on the feet, he's going to get dropped. I think Hardy is really going to bring it tonight. Looked great at the weigh-ins and he's hungry to save his MMA career and not drop 3 straight.

That layoff is outta this world. I'd take Hardy by decision if anything though.

Anthony Johnson has a power advantage and a better wrestling base. I wouldnt be suprised to see him score a takedown in Round 1. But, if he can't finish Hardy by early 2nd, I would expect him to fade fairly rapidly. Even without a layoff, his cardio has always appeared suspect.

I am leaning on a Hardy play as well, but havnt pulled the trigger. I dont feel extremely confident in my selections for this event as I have been wrapped up in NCAA tourney and not putting the necessary time into capping MMA.

    BOL on your play though.

I see good value in Hardy at +175...his desire, determination, resilience and mental toughness could be the key in this one and his advantages in these areas may transcend Johnson's power and wrestling advantage...cant wait for it!

Yea this fight is hard to bet on, if anything I like johnson I have never been that impressed with Hardy. I like the guy but he has really been hyped up for his ability to stand and bang, I just don't think he is as good as the hype.

Hardy is a fan favorite. From the weigh-in, walkout, intro, and in-fight antics... he plays one of the best mental games I've ever seen. I just like the matchup. I'm not sold on Johnson.. and the fact that he's been away for a while. He continues to struggle making weight... never a good sign. I just know one thing, Hardy will bring it tonight and will more than likely finish it. Can't wait!

I like Dan Hardy here as well for the simple fact Johnson has had a long long layoff from fighting. Cardio, timing, rhythm will not be there for him.

It'll be interesting if Dan's corrected the small flaw in his stand up game. If not, he could go down to another left hook again.

Might take a flyer on him. He has a good punch and could catch a rusty unprepared fighter. Why not?

I'm with you on Hardy. This fight has too many unknowns so take the dog and see how it works out. I like your pick.

Hardy is a nice value imo....could lose but I think he's too much for Johnson after such a long layoff!

Long layoff is death in all sports. I still can't back Hardy, way too many flaws, we don't know if he has that whole wrestling thing sorted out.

How did you guys see this fight? I had a Black Dan Severn interrupt the match by dry humping Dan Hardy for three rounds.

Seriously, those last two fights were really really tough to sit through. Hardy certainly didn't come to fight but I don't like Rumble that much either.

The guy just has no tdd whatsoever, Rogerio showed better relexes than Hardy, and he is considerably older.
