    Alternatives to Coinbase

Curious about other purchase/trading sites available to US citizens. Preferred sites would be non-US based.

    Thanks in advance.

    Good luck sir.

Most financial institutions outside of the US want nothing to do with US citizens. Its nothing personal its just business as the US government has agreements in place with various foreign governments to compel reporting of financials to the IRS.

"The FATCA agreement is an international agreement signed between Canada and the United States that allows the implementation of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (an Act of the U.S. Congress) in Canada. It is one of 30 intergovernmental agreements the US has concluded with other countries to implement the FATCA.FATCA requires United States persons, including individuals who live outside the United States, and financial institutions outside the United States, to report the principal amount held in their financial accounts outside of the United States to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)."

I'm a Canadian citizen living in Canada and when I try to open a bank account here one of the first questions they ask is:
"Are you a US person? (citizen or resident)"

Fukkin Canadian banks have to be concerned about the citizenship of their potential clients. Specifically if they are American.

So most if not all European financial institutions and cred1t card issuers will block services to the USA and American citizens.

Binance US. No restrictions on transfers to/from gambling sites. Free cash withdrawals by ACH to your bank. When you receive BTC it is available to sell after 1 confirmation. If you deposit by ACH it takes 10 days to clear, that really sucks, even worse than Coinbase.
