You'd rather send more points than fewer points and follow through on your word for even a month....shows how little you care about your word, and how little anyone should trust your word in the future.

Gave you two option for doing so: 12,006 to have it settled, or 6,000 and a month of abiding by loan terms. Both are extremely generous in ignoring 5 years of flagrant violations of terms.

If I send 6000 now what do I have to do for a month?

Lay it out and I will decide.

Carseller, I have been harsh to you over the years but glad to see you seriously considering doing the right thing here. Hopefully you squash it completely or at the very least pay half now and the rest next month.

Looks like he lost 3k before getting it up to 16k. He better pay this off before the casino wipes him out. Having a clear conscience would be nice, wouldn't it?

Yes to echo Jake, glad Carseller does seem to be making a concerted effort to make things right.

If I were you Triple, I would take his 7500 and put an end to this. Just my opinion of course, but I've been stiffed several times over the years, and if someone who stiffed me came and offered to pay back the principle + decent interest in order to clear it, I would definitely accept to get my points back + put an end to the saga. Yes, I wouldn't loan to that person again, but being rid of the drama + getting my points back would make it worthwhile!

So if I were you, that's why I would do the same - put an end to this once and for all! You say you want to teach him to be responsible, that's what you are looking for in his actions? Again, do you think that's realistic? And even if it were, why is that your job? Just take an amount which includes what you originally lent + more and put this behind you forever, for your sake and for everyone else on the forum's sake!

After all, if you don't what's going to happen? Most likely he will lose the points, and then you'll be back to square one. So take it and end the drama forever! Can't be worth it to be out 7500 points over a principle with some internet stranger can it? So again, just accept the points and then you never will have to associate with him in the future perhaps!

    1200 4 weeks

    Additional CS4 terms apply:

-Aside from the initial loan amount, no other points can be sent to the sportsbook until this loan is paid in full. This includes all points, even if an amount is withdrawn form the sportsbook it can't be sent back until loan is paid in full.

-You must enter poker tournaments with your own points every day until loan is paid off.

-You shall not solicit or accept other loans until this loan is paid off, nor shall you send points to anyone else until this loan is paid in full. Any gifts sent to you must be publicly stated as gifts by the gifter within 30 minutes of sending; otherwise you must send them back.No gifts are allowed; any gifts must not be used and must be returned to the sender no later than 15 minutes after your latest activity on the forum.

Violation of any of the above terms will result in the weekly interest doubling for each violation until the loan is paid in full, and starting to accrue immediately rather than after 1 month.

Some of those things won't apply anymore, but the rest would be (and are) still in effect. Those are what I'd expect you to comply with.

My stated purpose of the loan was for CS4 to prove himself a decent borrower or blacklist himself...I'm OK with either outcome; the points involved are orders of magnitude too small for me to be more concerned with them. I don't expect to foce him to change against his will, but I'm going to need at least a token nod towards complying with the terms if I'm going to let him off the hook he put himself on.

Comply with all applicable terms of the current loan for one month; I agree that some minor modifications as appropriate. You don't need to pay for poker any more so not applicable. You'll take no gifts and no other loans; send 6 for payment daily, and the remaining daily points can be sent too the sportsbook so long as that's been done. Pay 6k, meet those criteria for a month and I'll wipe out the remaining interest and consider the loan charged off and closed.

Send 6000 now and 6 points a day for 30 days and loan will be considered closed?

Obviously won't take any loans during that time.

Ok, so he wants 6000 + 6 per day for next month with no further loans/gifts in that time frame. Given you have almost 20000 right now, surely you can abide by that Carseller? Will do you good not to take loans for a month. And the amount he wants is less than the 7500 you were willing to pay anyway. So can this finally put an end to it? I hope so for everyone's sake!

Correct on all counts; plus no gifts, no shipping to sportsbook until 6 has been sent for that day (based off EST).

Props Carseller. I too have been harsh on you in the past, but you really do seem to be making a good faith effort to make things right - something which unfortunately several others on the site, who I won't name, haven't done. So even if I don't like your general way of doing things, you do deserve credit for that.

Just try to learn from this as well. If this is paid off, I assume you will be totally out of debt on here to every lender? Try to make a habit of that, don't just revert back to your original habits! I've seen too many people when they finally kick a bad habit, backslide back into it due to being lackadaisical, and you need to avoid that! Being out of debt is a nice thing that many of us on here enjoy - you should attempt to do the same!

Good in general also. With both Waves + JoeCool gone (thank god!), and Carseller seeming to put all of his loan drama behind him (for awhile at least, hopefully forever), things are looking up here!

Looks like he is on a bender in the casino, lost 2500 and put the remaining 11k in play. Can he continue bucking the odds? Even if he loses it all at least he can pay daily to Triple D and squash this once and for all.

Well he paid off a chunk of the 5+ year debt, bought some bitcoin and sent you 1000 points. Even if he loses it all, he is on his way to clearing his name and this age old debt.

Indeed, glad he paid off that 6k before blowing all that. And surely coming through with 6 points a day should not be too difficult!

Though it does worry me that he did this so quickly - as I said was hoping he'd be responsible with his points. But seems like if he ever has "extra" points, he has to gamble with them, is never enough! And I've known people like that over the years - never understood how they can live that way, but they have so much action in them, they can't stop gambling no matter what! Guess unless you have that mindset also, you're not going to understand it, and thankfully I don't have it!

That is why Triple D has set the terms the way he has. It will be a real test to see if carseller can send him 6 points/day before running into the casino with his daily ration.

Big props to CS for paying what was asked of him when he had the points. Not going to lie. Thought CS was going to give Triple the big fu. No more smack talk from me to CS moving forward. I'll root for him being a fellow blackjack degen.
