Looks like he will probably use this "effort to payback" as leverage for future loans. Or, he's trolling you.

Just calling it like it is pal.

Keep on keeping on, maybe you will secure that loan one of these days. Oh, Gaze sent you 200 yesterday that you promptly dusted off already.

Really could care less what you think of me.

Although, we all know that's not going to happen as anytime you get any points you dust them off. Like cinci said, you had 300 yesterday and went right in the casino/sportsbook. What an absolute shocker! If you paid what you owe, guess what? People would leave you alone and not give 2 craps what you did with your own points!!

More like a realist? Anytime you get any points you run to the casino. Prove me wrong by paying off a substantial chunk of this and not running to the casino anytime you get points/loans and maybe you will start getting some respect. Until then, penetrate off.

    A substantial chunk of what?

That is the point of this thread and the point of me sending him a point a day.

I have no clue as to what I owe. I know one thing...I paid the principal and substantial interest and considered the matter solved.

TDB doesn't think so and failed numerous times to accept a substantial offer to settle this.

Jake is a drama queen but nothing compared to the drama queen that TDB is.

Anyone that calls you out is a drama queen. I can live with that. Just like you can live with being a scamming stiff. You owe thousands in interest, so make some substantial payments and he might update when he has time. Sending a point/day is more of an insult than anything which is probably why he has not given you a figure yet.

    Good question.

Is a debt valid if the lender can't give a straight answer on how much is owed?

Did he agree to the terms? Was he sent the points? Regardless of whether the terms are deemed "fair" or not, he accepted them. Maybe it's time to get a grasp on his casino addiction? Men live up to their commitments. Sadly, this guy is just completely out of control and should probably just have his points turned off permanently by SBR. It's not like he's going to pay what he owes anyhow, let's be real.

The EXACT amount of interest you owe, according to the terms you agreed to, is more than there are atoms in the universe. Or to put it another way, think of the biggest number you can imagine and it's more than that.

Obviously that's unpayable (although that's nobody's fault but your own). As I've previously said, if I was to generously ignore all the terms you violated and just do the flat 40/week part you agreed to, you'd be at 1154/13,120. Also tough to pay, and also your own fault. But on top of that, I've said numerous times that I'd take way less in payback if you made consistent payback and proved that you'd changed.

Doesn't seem to matter though, as you took out another loan (which violates the terms of your loan with me), so you can't be too serious.

You've paid 154 points of interest on 1000 points from 5+ years ago....that's far from substantial interest, and less than you agreed to pay if it had been paid off in a month.

I never failed to accept any offers; you simply threw numbers out, I said I'm open to everything if you prove you can do it, and you never paid. Offering 1500, 2000 or 5000 points interest doesn't matter when you wouldn't actually pay any

You don't need to know the exact number to know a guy is a stiff; if he hasn't paid or even tried to pay, it's a stiff job, whether it's 10 points or 10,000 or 10^10,000. There's not much point in doing the substantial math and calculating the exact amount he owes when the number is that large anyways. And let's be real: if it's a number beyond 5,000 or so, it might as well be inifinity 'cause he's can't ride a lucky BJ streak that high, which is the only way he ever pays any of this stuff off

You admittedly don't know the true amount.

No way I can pay something off when I don't know how much it is.

    How am I wrong?

Among many other reasons: you know the true amount is at least 13,160 (plus at least 10^100 points in penalties willingly incurred by you), and yet you don't make any progress towards it. FFS, the orginal loan with no penalties would have been 1200 in a month and you're not even there.

Maybe you'll understand this if I put it in car terms: when you're driving somewhere, you don't need to be able to see your destination when you start, you just need to drive in the right direction. You've been told the right direction to drive and you just refuse to do it...among so many other reasons, that makes you wrong.
