Thanks Beelz, I'm sure most of us can hit 5 if given enough playing time..

Thought to share how I play my NBA betting pool for a day.. Wake up to a cup of coffee, take a dump and then start hammering the stats for NBA first, I factor in streaks, trends, back to back travel, injury reports, PF and PA, etc.... I arrived at 4 plays for today.

I am leaning towards Memphis as my best play of the day.. Really like the Blazers at home as well with NO Kobe and another starter going down in last nights Laker win at home..

NY just sucks though and are playing back to back with travel to a solid Memphis Griz team that is rested and playing at home... Good enough for me to give that a shot as my best play..... I'm thinking the Griz pull away at some point late in this game and cover the 13 1/2 easily...

i think that is right play. Samp have just lost one of their key attacking players Gabbiadini to Napoli. Only 1 out of last 7 meetings between these two in Rome has gone over 2.5 as well. Im expecting a 1-0, 1-1 type game

I'll continue to explain my plays for now - what do I care? NBA only has 2 games on the schedule so I'm going with the NHL today..

Only see two games on the NHL schedule that grab my attention...... Thinking Chicago over Colorado, Chicago Blackhawks have won 11-12 at home and 2 straight over the Colorado Avalanche... Solid stuff to bet on.. Only problem though is that Colorado has been playing very good hockey of late.. Might be tough covering that 1 1/2 goal with the odds..

Turn to my best play which is Nashville over Carolina at home... Nashville Predators have the best home winning record in the league, coming back home from a road trip and a loss with a few days rest I expect them to play their best hockey.. Nashville also lost to Carolina earlier this season at Carolina so I expect extra revenge motivation from Nashville going into this one.....

You don't watch sports? Really??? What the fock are you watching then? Obviously you are tailing a hockey guru on twitter or maybe you are just crunching the stats and trends and almost betting blind then.. Which one is it sport?

I record and watch both NHL Tonight and NBA GameTime every night before I crash on Directv, just to thoroughly keep up and stay informed.. I fast forward thru the commercials to cut down on play time and take down notes as I go.. Those shows really help in addition to crunching the stats, trends and numbers for next morning when trying to place in my opinion ... You can get a much better feel on how all the teams are playing around the leagues, you can certainly pick up a gem here and there, etc.. ESPN highlights alone aren't good enough in my opinion...
