At least Carseller does not tell lies about me PO! So right now I'd consider you several rungs lower than him on the ethics scale. Every day eh... fools and urgers are the type of people who make up inflammatory shit to create drama. Every day indeed. Idiot.
I try to say yes to anyone who asks anything of me. He doesn't ask very often. He always sends it back fast. He'd only have to let me down once and that would be the end of it. But he never has in years.
So I'd feel like a dick saying no over a poker tourney entry maybe 2 or 3 times per month (I think it has been).

Hey Opti. I totally see your point of view, I was there a couple of years ago with Carseller.
I gave him a lot of points and kinda found him amusing and felt sorry for him.
Since then, I have seen his constant angling, lying and cheating wherever he could get away with it and I decided that was enough until he showed any real sign of stopping the cycle. People giving him points out of pity are just enabling/encouraging him to do it more.
He now is totally and openly stiffing Triple_D_Bet in his loan. This garbage about the loan being a joke is just that, garbage. He is using that and anybody that will still enable him as an excuse to continue stiffing him.
He is a grown man (assuming that is the case) and therefore he should be treated like it. Charity and pity should be saved for the folks that are genuinely in a bind and show that they will take responsibility and work through it (e.g. Mexicanstallion).
If you truly think what has happened with Carseller is a "lynch mob" then there is not much I can say that will likely change your mind. Carseller has agreed to everything that he is being held to and all people are doing is calling that out, nothing more than that.

You still broke almost every term you agreed to on the loan when you took it and for some reason or another believe that in no way shape or form should you be accountable for what you agree too. This is the way it has always been for you.

Hey Opti, Carseller's response and Downsouth's statement that he has openly broken every stipulation of the agreement is all that really needs to be said as to why people speak up against him.
Personally, it really rubs me the wrong way when people are so in your face and cavalier about being a douche bag. I and many others tried to help him out but he just virtually flips us off. Even his most recent chief enabler no1here has recently gone quiet and no longer enables him, I assume it is because he learned what Carseller is all about.

Well optional, I didn't bother to check his whole point history, but you sent him points one of the last days that he played in a tournament I Sept and then you sent it the FIRST tournament in October. I thought that you had sent him points many times before that. But geez, that is no reason for you to be such an asshole about it. But seriously, does this loan have reasonable stipulations? Was it made by someone who has spent years criticizing Carseller and warning others not to loan to him? Was it made in good faith or with the intent to create this problem to start with?
If I saw some poor sucker tricked out of his points I'd probably feel as offended as you about his taunts. But all I see is a couple of people playing the same game they have been playing for years, so I find it tough to get offended about pretty much anything anyone says about it.
That said, I don't really know enough about it and trust Downsouth's knowledge and judgement of these things, so the only real opinion I wanted to get across in this thread was to tell PO to STFU. Not criticize you or anyone else.

Yeah, I dont give Carseller the grief some do but occasionally will say something to him. While the Triple D terms of the loan with the exponential interest is not realistic Carseller has often over the years agreed to whatever someone offered in his search for points and very rarely follows through on what he agrees too. At this point it is what it is but just letting you know that I don't give the guy grief without reason.
As far as PO, just do like most here do and ignore him.
