    Should a poster go pro ? :

    1. 12 X 365 = 4,380

    2. BTP contest . I was terrible this year and received 2,870 free play points.

    3. Received 2,400 free play points in trivia this year.

    4. After original sign up costs, it is 3000 points a year to re up .

    5. Prices have been reduced to re up and 2014 is free to existing pro's.

    6. This is the 2nd time since pro membership started several years ago that a year has been free.

    7. Plenty of other contests to join for usually 6 points.

    8. Some contests, like guess the draft position of Manti Teo and win 500 points are free.

    9. High end contest each year as well.

    10. Poker all over this site.

    11. Store costs will not go up for 6 more months.

    I probably missed something but it is clear that going pro is free money, if money was the reason you would not go pro.

    Well, was gonna start my slow trek in March 2014 to earn 3000 points for my September 2014 renewal. Seems like I do not have to worry about it this year. So, I will go make a donation that I have been wanting to do for quite a while, with some of my now freed up betpoints.

    Thanks SBR for the donation opportunities, the BTP contest, SBR Poker, and the trivia quiz. Other than SBR poker tables being too big to fit 4 poker tables on my screen(my poker standard), SBR remains among my top 3 for online poker entertainment and this 2014 SBR Pro Renewal offer keeps SBR as one of my few remaining online poker destinations.

    It's not that people can't afford to, just the motivation isn't really there. I'd like to get to 3k points to play holdem ring games or bet with before I go pro. I'm pretty sure anyone who can afford the internet can afford to go pro if they really wanted to.

    This all sounds great. I have been a member for a long time, but only took the time in September to really understand SBR. The contests, poker and forums are great entertainment even at $200.00. I have been encouraging as many people as I can to look at the site and join.

    One question I have. I do not understand the reasoning behind not having two members in the same household. I have a 24 year old son that currently lives in our house. He would be interested in becoming a member, but I won't allow him because I do not want my account banned. (I Enjoy it that much.)

    But since September, I realize that members can routinely 'loan" each other points.
    Poker is fun and competitive, but there would really be no reason to play together. Now with modern technology, it would be easy to communicate with another player during a game. But for free points, why bother. I could understand two players not playing in same game from same IP address.

    Sports betting is independent. It would be fun to compete against him in the contests for household bragging rights.

    I haven't visited the Casino. Seems I can get into enough trouble with sports betting and poker.

    So someone please explain the logic behind no two members in same household. I gladly paid the $200.00 in November to become Pro. Great charity and just money well invested for the entertainment value for the next two years. Again I have enjoyed the friends I have made and look forward to many more in future. Lastly I do would be interested in a BASH somewhere. (Just not during tax season.)

    Posters that share the same household may not both receive Betpoints. The second account will have loyalty points withheld. If this rule is violated, or if SBR determines that one user is controlling multiple accounts, SBR reserves the right to remove points from all accounts.     Do Canadian customers get any discounts with SBR pro membership or is it just for USA members? I signed up through to become pro through a sportsbook deposit of $200 in 2013 and I am up for renewal in late 2014.
