SnickerDoodles recently had 1,500 pts on 5/25. About the 10th time he's had the ability to pay back loan in full, but chooses not to. I'm petitioning SBR mods (Shari) to either confiscate his pts ala Carseller, or simply ban him. He is making a complete mockery of your pts/loan system. Only you have the power to stop it & set example for others contemplating stiffing. For those who say SBR doesn't have time to get involved. Is it really time consuming to send Snicker a PM ultimatum saying, "pay loan or be banned"? It would take just seconds & surely be effective. To do nothing is condoning the behavior. Sending a crystal clear message, it's ok to stiff with no consequences.

If you agree with this reasonable & overdue petition, please nominate post showing your approval. If there's enough approval & community outrage over stiffs, hopefully SBR will crack down on the problem. Thank you in advance for everyone's anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I like this in theory, but if SBR is going to do this, it's only fair to do it to EVERY single person who has exhibited this behavior (a few have done it to me). Doing it only selectively so that some lenders just get screwed over while others at least get some measure of justice doesn't seem very fair.

OP. Can understand your frustration with Snickerstiff and his failure to repay when he had the points. However, disagree that SBR should get involved in loan disputes. Self policing and the collection of interest should suffice. Lenders really need to perform due diligence before lending points, especially if a large sum. Snickerstiff was clearly not someone to lend 1K points to last summer. Keep up the pressure on Snickerstiff, and he may one day do the right thing. But I doubt it. The best course of action probably would be to write this loan off and move forward. I will also add that Op has been very fair with the stiff as he has not added any interest to the loan even though it's way past due. GL.

The kicker on this is I f'n paid back Thad his loan, he made tons of interest, and made out like a bandit when he took over my many loans at a discounted rate, and he still cried to SBR like a bitch.

When SBR started its attack on me I was actually paying on my loan, in fact I had one of the best weekly points payment on my loan. There was absolutely no problems with it, but since I actually like to have a little fun with my lenders and give them a bit of grief, SBR thought they would step in, EVEN THOUGH I WAS STILL FUKKING PAYING THE DAMN LOAN. I WASN'T STIFFING IT.

Sorry for being so rough and blunt, you actually have a better reason for complaining than that POS ThaddeusB did. I'm still pretty bitter about this whole thing, and actually should be grateful to you for pointing out how stupid SBR is when it comes to policing stuff like this.

Only a douche like you would call it "crying" when a borrower repeatedly lies and steals from their lender and the lender objects to it.

Interest is charged primarily as a time-based consideration for the lender not having use of the points until they're repaid. Scamming, lying thieves like yourself (and SBR's mostly non-interventionist policy) are the reason other people have to pay a higher interest rate to account for risk as well.

Keep pretending that SBR is picking on you...I'm sure in your delusional little world you actually think it's true, instead of the extremely clear reasons they gave you numerous times.
