    March Poker Leaderboard Contest

    Based on the fun of the February contest (http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sbr-points...ead-title.html), we're gonna do it again!

    The Rules:

    Payouts:

    <5 Participants
    1st place: 94%

    5-8 Participants
    1st place: 66%
    2nd place: 28%

    9+ Participants
    1st place: 48%
    2nd place: 28%
    3rd place: 18%

    6% to person posting most results during period (explained below)

    Entry Fee: Variable, with minimum 50 points, maximum 500 points, in 50 point intervals. Every interval a player buys in for over the base 50 points qualifies him for the next level of payout. See 2nd post for example of how this works!!

    Scored contests: Daily tournaments from March 4th to March 29th (inclusive) will be counted towards a player's final score. Official scoring will be observed by players posting screenshots of their Cashier window between 12:01 AM March 2nd and 5:59 AM March 4th. Screenshots will be posted in a separate thread.

    Informal scoring: to keep a running score, players are encouraged to post screen shots of each daily tournament after it's finished, from which participants' scores will be informally calculated and periodically updated. To incentivize this, 6% of the total prize pool will be awarded to the player who first posts the most daily tourney results to this thread.

    Prizes awarded based strictly on final leaderboard standings among participants. For example: 1st place prize goes to highest place finisher among participants, 2nd to 2nd highest, etc).

    Registration will close on Monday, March 4th at 6:00 AM EST. I'll hold points for the duration of the contest and keep them in my sportsbook balance separate from my personal points.

    I will once again offer a free play to the participant with the best performance overall in the amount of 500 points.

    Example Situation:

    Players 1-4 enter for 50 points, players 5-7 enter for 250 points, players 8-10 enter for 500 points. 3 pools are generated: a 500 point pool for the 50 point level (10 players), a 1200 additional point pool for the 250 point level (6 players), and a 750 additional point pool for 500 point level (3 players)

    Players finish in following order:

    5,2,3,8,6,4,10,7,1,9

    50 point level pays Players 5,2,3 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd (9+ entries)
    250 point level pays Players 5, 8 for 1st and 2nd (5+ entries)
    500 point level pays 8 for 1st (<5 entries)

    6% of total (135 points) goes to whichever player posts most updates from dailies. Player 5 wins the 500 point freeplay from me.

    If any player fails to post their screenshot of the cashier in the specified timeframe, they will be treated as not placing for the purposes of prizes...very important to do this so we can track with 100% certainty!!

    if you are in with me and po69 for the 500 a man one winner take all just us 3 (is what he requests) then lets do this.. we dont have to postup is fine with me if easier.

    also I will be in this one too.. I realize all the kinks arent worked out so I will wait to ask questions later.

    Kinks should all be worked out now I believe, let me know if I've got anything worded weirdly.

    Players can post up 50,100,150,200,250,300,350,400,450 and 500 point levels....just keeping it simple for the example!

    Id like to be in again, my PRO app has been submitted(2/27/13).

    Depending on when this goes through I am not sure if I will be able to ship the points by the start of the tourny. 5Miker said his pro app took like 4-5 days to go through......

    I would like to be in for 50, but I have an outstanding debt to Tripster for my pro renewal. I have been slamming every thing I cash on him trying to pay it off fast. All I ask, and this is of course if he is fine with it as well, is that a person spot me the 50 till my next cash. If tripster thinks I need to repay my loan before this, then that's what it shall be.

Hell I was up 650 the other night on a 1200 rollover and got popped down to 150. Knew when I saw the big dogs on table I should have left. :P

    Most feedback from February's contest was to make prize schedule more top-heavy. If we had a considerable overlay I'd see more places paid being popular, but without it I wanna make sure 1st place is worth something!

    Add the 50 Trip, as these guys better get scared. I posted up in 7th in hoops, (down to 8th now and more than likely 20th when it all said and done) and will make top 45 this week in poker finally. (top 20 in triathalon) March = My time. Its on! Please subtract the 50 this week when you figure interest.

    Hrm, wasn't sure if that was permitted/frowned upon/etc...I figured posting it int he poker forum woudl make it visible to vast majority of people who might enter!

    Guys, can we all get in next months contest for AT LEAST 100 points? This 50 point stuff doesnt even make it worthwhile for the guy tabulating all of the results. I was hoping for 200 points each, but that probably wont happen.

    But guys, if you 1st-5th, then I had better see you guys post up 100 for next month. Hell due it for Mikejamm or whomever posted all of the standings over the month. I will post my points as soon as I get 100 or 200. But count me down for 100 for sure and I hope that most of us go that route just to increase the prize pool for the winner-3rd place................................... ...............................And this comes from someone who didnt even finish in the top 10 this month

    Scrappy, see if tripledbet will increase your loan by 100 points. Maybe he will do it if you agree to let him 50% 0f any winnings and apply those to your loan if you havent paid it all by the end of the month
