This is based upon the following:

- a "player" plays 8 hands per minute, which is slow
- chance of a RF is 1 in 40,000
- poisson approximation of binomial distribution since p (chance to hit a royal) is so small
- you can think of the # of players as average number of full time players per hour over the course of the 17 hours. So some people who are mult-tasking would count as 0.1 players, etc.

10 players (81,600 total hands) = 87.0% chance of 1 or more RF
15 players (122,400) = 95.3%
20 players (163,200) = 98.3%
30 players (244,800) = 99.8%
40 players (326,400) = 99.97%

I hope someone hit it while I was typing this up. But I doubt it.

BTW, I am not saying SBR has rigged the software, even if it eventually becomes a mathematical certainty that it is rigged (we are headed there, give it some hours). They are using third party casino software.

Yes, I agree that the numbers are low. I read that if you play optimal strategy for a normal JoB payout, you will hit a RF about 1 in 40,000 hands. A VP expert can confirm for us. But as you state, people are doing shit like throwing away small pairs to keep two big suited cards. So the chance of a RF should be a little higher.

8 hands per minute is slow. There are people who can play 15-16 easy, and so they would count for 2 players.

We would need a Monte Carlo sim to come up with rock solid numbers, but it's reaching the point where we don't even need particularly accurate estimates.
