Really depends on how persistent people are. Problem is jacks or better is a game where it's very easy to lose big quickly. Although the overall payout % of the game is quite reasonable most of the EV of it comes from hitting a royal. If one were to take that out of the equation probably the payout would drop from like 99% to 90%.

So it tends to be a game where you either win big if you get lucky and get the royal or lose a fair chunk if you don't. And not sure how many can persevere losing more and more until the miracle comes.

But the odds of getting a royal are actually about 2 / 10,000 in this game - actually probably a bit better than getting 3 blackjacks in a row. And someone was able to do the latter so why not this?

How are you getting 1 in 5,000? That is not even close to the real odds.

If we assume the IPad is worth about 10,000 pts then I get 110.8963% (for playing the mininum, 0.50 X 5 coins)



Arunsh, if you take the RF out all together, the payout falls to 96.7993%. Probably people are constantly throwing away small pairs, trying to hit miracle RFs. And for that reason they are losing very quickly.

with fast play on, i probably had over 100 spins in the first minute (gave just me alone a 1/10 chance or so of hitting it in the first minute)

craps is a little slower because you have to replace bets on the pass line occassionally

i fully expected craps and roulette to both be gone within 2 minutes

at some point if the prize is a bit bigger that rule changes right? u have to go for the royal..not sure on one ipad vs a 2.50 risk,,keep the pair and grind..
