Zach Grienke broke his ribs playing pickup basketball

    Going for a rebound.

Unacceptable. That rebound better have won his team the game.

Hopefully he comes back after 4 weeks and he only misses 1 or 2 starts.

I'm guessing Manny Parra will take over his spot in the rotation? Anybody know?

At least this gives worthless Volquez a chance against Milwaukee. I imagine Gallardo will start opening day.

That move is heading downhill before he even steps foot on the mound. Great job Milwaukee

Hmm this could be a positive sign. Grienke playing pick up basketball with other people? Sounds like hes coming out of his social anxiety shell or what ever problem he had. And broken ribs should not affect him too much. Brewers should not worry.

You think he would have learned from Aaron Boone's mistake. Hopefully he doesn't copy Cory Lidle next.

If there was one way, i would want him injured it would be this. hell, a rib injury will clear up by the 2nd week of April, if not sooner. he said he did it some time in the off season. so it will heal up and he will be fine. there are not recurring rib injuries, once its right.
so, hell . take two weeks of greinke boy, go ahead, milwaukee (We) be fine. we need your ass to be ready in octobor where it counts.
because this is the last year with fielder, if there was any year we were gonna go it would be this year, and it certainly looks like we are on our way to our first division title in 28 years!
