    unit-175 vs baek

    and webb-250 vs roenike

if this isnt evidence why people should never, ever, ever, ever, ever lay over -120 on the road, then i dont know what is

people, bullpens matter more than anything, any single factor, in baseball

the starting pitcers name means less than the men who come in after him

how many games are blowouts after 6?

    dont lay on the road,

It's a good thing I couldn't add this game to my parlay. I thought the Dbacks would take this one.

i thought so for sure, but the more you watch, the more you see home dogs win so much, and laying on favorites, just about EVER, is a losing proposition

Padres are playing for pride now, but I still can't believe AZ getting swept.

They just threw away three games to the Padres of all teams.

How can you say bullpens matter more in baseball than anything? Ridiculous statement! The only thing that matters less is the manager.

Yeah, I agree BBB. Managers can be so incompetent when managing. Take Florida's loss yesterday. Fredi Gonzalez still left Gregg in to pitch even though he was getting hammered.

Did I say pens don't matter? Every part of a team matters, but it's all relative. Starting pitchers have more impact on a game than any other individual player on the team. The other eight guys on the field play both offense and defense. Guys in the bullpen, apart from the occasional blow out, will pitch one or two innings at most, and never more than three days in a row. What is your reasoning that bullpens matter the most?

the only reason i think pens matter is bc i have watched games for 20+ years or more

    other than that, they dont

anyone who says starters matter more than pens doesnt watch games
    you included

tb doesnt lose games, their pen is why they are in first
the mets would be 5-10 up with a mediocre pen

    blowing leads destroys teams
    i see it every year
rockies solidified a pen last year and won the division with the best 1-2 punch in the league post asb, fuentes and corpas

    nothing matters more than pens
    nothing

The last few days of August, almost all pens are on fumes. All the teams eagerly awaiting September call-ups...

So the starter for the Mets who keeps them in the game singlehandedly by not allowing a run over eight innings is less important than the one guy coming out of the bullpen who implodes in an inning? I think you are blinded by the fact that just because the bullpen works the end of the game you think that makes it more important, which isn't true.

the end of the game is when the game is won or lost
the first part doesnt matter. games dont end after 6 inningas
    they end after 9

You bet on a bad hitting offense. Just because they were big favs on the road doesn't mean that other big favs on the road can't win. Quit betting on teams that can't hit worth a shit.

    dont lay on the road,

How about the other two morning games yesterday?

    Perkins -200 Winner
    Marquis -175 Winner

both heavy favs on the road, both win
if you bet all the favs yesterday morning at these prices you would have made money

go back the last 7 days and take every road fave and see how much you lose
    or the whole year

even if you took perkins and marquis yesterday, you lose the profit on webb and then some

if you think laying -200 on the road is smart, by all means, keep betting road faves of -175-200

Check my stats, haven't layed that kind of juice. The highest I have put down was yesterday on the Santana and the Mets -163 which should have been -210
